Following on from the previous post the new landlords do offer a range of GF options on the daily menu except for Sundays which is a choice of roast meats along with a vegetarian option. They give the usual disclaimer but we're knowledgeable about cross contamination. I went on Sunday as part of a group of 14, the food was good and plenty on the plates. The gravy is GF but not the Yorkies. The Trillionaires tart was a welcome change to Brownies or Ice Cream.They also have Wadhams 6X GF in bottles which as someone who used to enjoy craft ale was very acceptable. As the new landlords had only been in situ for 3 weeks service was a little slow as there are new staff but as we were not in a rush we had no problems.
Several gf options on the menu, my coeliac son had ham, egg and chips. Staff seem knowledgeable and helpful.
Just to note - we were made aware the pub is changing hands next month (April 2024) - although I think it’ll still be a Wadworth pub so hopefully will still have good GF food, but maybe worth checking…
Lovely location in the new forest, easy to book, lots on the menu that is either naturally gf or has a gfo, including the children’s menu, great experience and lovely walks nearby.

Great Gf food, knowledgeable staff. I had the burger, classic Gf bun slightly falls apart but a great experience all round.
