Fortify Pi

Felt a little silly when walking in and realizing this and Fortify were two separate restaurants. This one is more casual, family dining. My family and I ordered a small pizza, sandwich and a burger. I ate the burger with cold garlic potato salad (only I am celiac). The food was amazing though, we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals!! We wanted to go back, but the cost was very high. So if you have a little extra to spend, we recommend stopping in.

WARNING! Please note that currently Fortify Pi has Small ($16) and Large ($22) and they have a $3 GF crust surcharge. Although not noted online, they only offer GF in Small. When we asked if 2 Smalls = 1 Large we were told Yes, expecting a $22 + $3 bill. But they charged $32 + $6. Tried contacting them but no response from owner/manager. Good pizza but NOT WORTH $38 for two small lunch-size pizzas. Shame on them!

Server was knowledgeable about gluten allergies but I still was sick within 15 minutes of eating. I had the gluten free pasta.

We had the gluten free pizza with Italian sausage and pepperoni (we added extra sauce). I also tried the vegan cheese due to my dairy allergy. The pizza is delicious! One the the best GF pizza crusts ever! Great service and knowledgeable staff! Cannot wait to order pizza from here again!

I ate here twice in the two weeks I was in Clayton. The staff was wonderful and the pizza was so good. Try their homemade ice cream!

They have great gluten free pizza crusts and also vegan cheese for those with dairy issues. I've only eaten pizza and salads there and have never gotten sick. It is expensive, but also very tasty.
