Cross contamination :/ Not dedicated fryer for proteins - didn't realize my lemon chicken was fried until served. Also I would have liked to have some veggies in my meal. Neither I nor my non-celiac partner are feeling well after so I don't think they are on their A-game lately.

We have been going here for years. Ordered chicken and rice noodles, sesame chicken, sushi, etc. We have never had a problem dining in our carrying out.

Ate here four times. Three were fine and the fourth I got sick. I think their other location does a much better job.

Menu has a “gluten free” section. But several items have an asterisk and at the bottom it says “not recommended for people with severe celiac”. Server/manager could not explain what that meant. I asked what the sweet and sour chicken (which has an asterisk) was breaded with and they couldn’t tell me, and told me the asterisk just means spicy...which was a lie because sweet and sour chicken isn’t spicy. Then they told me it was just an old menu and they don’t know why it is on there. We got up and left.

No issues from takeout, just limited options. Have a close friend with a severe gluten issue and this and PF Chang is where they eat Chinese in Kansas City. I usually order the Mongolian beef and egg drop soup. I wish they would add some items on their sushi menu.

Have had one cross contamination issue in 2012 but went back to try again. April 2015. I think their chef changed and the food isn't as good as it used to be. Had cc issue yet again. I went back once more in 2019 and I wont return to this location. Never had an issue at 135th and Nieman.

Didn’t get sick but tastes different than the 135th location.
We eat here often and don’t get sick. They have a good selection of gluten free menu choices! We usually get the sweet and sour chicken or sesame chicken. Just let them know that you have an allergy.
Yes
While they do have a gluten free menu it is not celiac friendly! I ordered the gluten free sweet and sour chicken for lunch and got so sick a few hours later. Completely ruined my week! Also, this one dish with rice cost me $20?! Guess they didn’t give me the lunch sized portion?
No
I get their gf sesame chicken with white rice. Before I had Celiac I got this same dish and I cannot tell a difference!! I would definitely recommend this place!!

Really Yummy! They have many G-free options including fried rice!

I have eaten here several times as I have not gotten gluten. Food is great and staff really seem to care.
Great GF dedicated menu. We always get gf chicken fried rice and my non-gf family members can't tell difference! Sweet and sour gf chicken good too.

Loved it. I had the sesame chicken. Very tasty and no reaction!! It will be my go to Chinese place from now on.

I just went gluten free and loved Chinese food and it tasted no different then non-gluten-free. I loved it! Best food I've had.
Much better than average Chinese food and a good gluten-free selection. Good grasp of gluten-free safety. I have eaten there many times with no gluten reactions. I am not sure whether they have gluten-free soy sauce, because it is not an ingredient in the dishes I order (lemon chicken and sweet and sour chicken). Our celiac support group has had several group parties there. Mid-scale decor. I highly recommend this place. They have another location on 135th Street.

On the menu it says "Not recommended for Celiac Disease" due to involuntary cross contamination. So eat at your own risk. I, personally, have never had any sensitivity issues with anything I have ordered off the GF menu. It's nice to find Chinese food with the GF menu option!!

They have GF items in a section on their dinner menu. I tried the chicken and vegetables. The veggies were nice and crisp. The food had no flavor and was completely bland. I would like to try another entree and see if it was any more flavorful. Bring your own soy sauce, as theirs has wheat. It was about $11 for my entree.

We love this restaurant. They have a great selection of gluten free items. And they taste delicious. We have eaten here 20+ times over the years and have always felt good afterwards. The owner and staff are very nice. Did I mention that we love this place?!

Great! I have eaten here a dozen times and always feel great afterwards! I love their Philadelphia sushi roll and gluten free lemon chicken! Bring your own soy sauce though!

This is one of our favorite gluten free restaurants. They have a designated gluten free menu on the regular menu. We especially love the lemon shrimp, sesame chicken and lettuce wraps. Rice noodle dishes are good too. We love to eat here!

I love it! I am recently gluten-free and loved Chinese and have been overly pleased with the food and service.
