Review of Founding Farmers DC

I live in DC and have been to Founding Farmers several times--most recently last night--and honestly I can no longer recommend this spot as being gluten friendly. The waiter was actually very helpful, and I applaud his diligence in checking our order for gluten. However, he had to come back to us twice to let us know something was not gluten free, for dishes that easily could have been gluten free, especially at a place that prides itself on being farm-to-table. In the past, I enjoyed their vanilla milkshake for dessert. However, last night they told me the vanilla milkshake is not gluten free! There are better places to go in DC. I'll take a Jose Andres restaurant over Founding Farmers.
