Review of Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence

I didn't inquire as to cross contamination issues. Some of the restaurant menus are marked for allergens.

A breakfast buffet is available, and it has a separate table of very good gluten free bread, terrific muffins and wafers. Eggs are made to order, and there is a fantastic juice bar! We had mango juice which was bursting with flavor (and we didn't get sick).

The burger restaurant in the hotel has a menu marked for allergens. I had a cheeseburger without the bun and french fries, and I was fine. I am gluten sensitive, but not celiac, so I can withstand cross contamination.

The menu at LeGourmandise, which is a Four Seasons operation even though it is in the mall attached to the hotel, had several options that seemed to be gluten free, but the menu wasn't marked. I just wanted a little something, so I had french fries, and was fine . NOTE that this restaurant has a dessert case in front with excellent French macaroons, which are gluten free!

This is an very comfortable, beautiful hotel, a delight to stay in!
