My burger was delicious- the meat patty flavourful & perfectly cooked & smothered in cheese. The gluten free bun was the best I’ve ever had - it tasted good, was a proper size & didn’t fall apart! Our server was well informed regarding cross contact & volunteered that they have a gf fryer. I felt very confident & safe eating here. It’s a very welcoming & comfortable spot. Highly recommend!
All of their burgers can be made gluten free (the ones with breaded onions can be made without the onion)
Delicious food, great knowledge on cross contamination.
We had the poutine (so good) with some burgers on the side.
Gluten free beer available as well. Really good place and environment.
Been ordering from here since before I was diagnosed with celiac disease. Have never had an issue with gluten. Staff seem pretty knowledgeable and will help you with what they have on the menu to be GF. By far one of the better gluten free burgers in the city, would also suggest going just next door to Kind ice cream after eating a burger as they have gluten free ice cream options and cones. Highly recommend Fox Burger.
This is my go to place for a GF burger and fries fix. All the staff are knowledgeable about GF. The GF bun is delicious (they toast it). They have a dedicated fryer for fries. Last night they replaced fried chicken with grilled chicken so I could enjoy the weekly special. I haven’t had a bad experience here.
Ate here last night, and I unfortunately was feeling glutened on the way home.
Nothing was marked as GF on the menu (online menu), but our waitress let me know about my options. Most of the appetizers are a no-go. The spinach dip is GF, and I felt fine after eating this.
I think what glutened me was the burger. I confirmed that they do have a dedicated fryer for the fries, but after confirming that, the waitress asked how severe of an allergy I have to minimize cross-contamination (this was after I had already mentioned I was celiac). Most of the burgers can be made GF by just using a GF bun or lettuce bun. Our food order was somehow lost, and I believe the kitchen staff rushed a little more than they needed to to get us our food, and maybe they weren't so aware about cross-contamination.
I've ate here once before and felt ok after, so it might just be chancey.
My absolute favourite burger in the city. Smash burger style patty. I get the bacon pepper smash with fries (garlic fries) all the time. The poutine can also be done gluten free. The bun is always toasted to perfection. They also have a food truck, but only do lettuce wraps on the truck because it is too high risk of contamination on the bun toaster that fits in the truck, which I appreciate they acknowledge. Have been here MANY times and have never had issues with getting sick.
