The servers/cashier are not educated with respect to gluten, so don't ask. The menu has a "Gluten-Free" section, but it's NOT actually gluten free! There is beer in their BBQ sauce (all of them), so anything with BBQ sauce has gluten. I did ask about this on two separate occasions, and both times the response was "well, this more like a gluten-sensitive section" and I said "but the ingredients literally have gluten in them!" Also, the fries are in that section, and it's not a dedicated fryer so there's definitely contamination there. Anyway, as long as you get things that you know are ok (baked potato, corn on the cob, plain meat (no sauce), salad with no croutons), you should be fine - but it's not much and sort of defeats the purpose of going. Because they don't know what gluten is, they don't take any precautions against contamination. Be sure to ask ask ask! It's excellent food for people who can eat gluten, and probably for the mildly gluten sensitive (and can handle contamination or beer), but not for celiac or truly gluten-intolerant.
