After a week each in Barcelona and Madrid, Fragata in Sitges offered one of the best GF dining experiences in Spain. The primary difference being that the foods available GF were not compromised or simplified from a culinary perspective. Dishes arrived with multiple ingredients and sauces - all of which tested GF with a Nima. Nothing labeled GF on menu but server was knowledgeable and food was Spain’s highest quality. Big surprise in little Sitges. Server - Yolanda was patient and accurate.

They have knowledgable staff understand cross contamination and celiac disease. Were very specific about what items are celiac safe and even served up gluten free rolls in a protective, sealed wrapper. The food and service were great, especially the apps. Wish they had even more options.
