Best gluten free dairy free ice cream around- and dare I say, best ice cream in general. Love their business model and all the seasonal flavors as well. Extremely safe for celiac.

Ice cream shop was completely Gluten Free - no Gluten in the facility.
Ice cream was a nice texture but most of the flavours are way too sweet. I had the charcoal ash caramel and it was sickly sweet, my husband had the chocolate and it was still very sweet.
Overall good, but not the best ice cream.

All the flavors I've tried here have been really unappealing taste-wise, and the texture is full of ice crystals. Not a fan! But.. happy that others seem to like it and feel safe eating here.

Delicious! Who knew pine would be good in ice cream? I am sensitive to oats so I knew not to try those. They have options with cashew and coconut milk. The cone was great!

I used to love Frankie and Jo’s when they used cashews for the base of most of the ice creams, but found out they started using “gluten free” oat flour and oats… that’s all fine and dandy if they are actually certified gluten free oats…. However since they made the change I have had several reactions and no longer can support them. And it looks like I am not the only celiac who has had to forgo their ice cream. It’s a big shame.

I tried a pint of the rise and shine (pieces of waffle cone in the ice cream). The next morning, I woke up with the characteristic joint and sinus inflammation that follows my consumption of gluten. I was happy to find a gluten-free and vegan option, but now I have half a pint that will need to be thrown out. If you are very gluten sensitive (or celiac) look elsewhere.

Had Mint Brownie, followed by an unmistakable reaction. I suspect the oats are not as gluten free as they think. Shame, because it tasted good. Won’t be back. I suggest other celiac folks steer clear.

Delicious dairy free and gluten free ice cream with new seasonal flavors every month. My husband loves the waffle cones (all GF) and the staff is friendly. More expensive than most ice cream, but worth it for an occasional treat.

Excellent ice cream! Ballard location is newer, it is just as good as the one in Cap Hill.
