When I looked at the menu I was so nervous. They did offer gluten free pasta noodles and I got the meat sauce and I felt fine after. I have celiac disease :)

The food was very good, and I felt fine afterward. There aren’t many GF food options though. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about celiac and the foods that are GF.

I have been gluten intolerant for 3 years now.Frank makes penne pasta with his homemade Alfredo sauce no gluten, but there is dairy.Absolutely the best Italian I have ever had. When living in Indiana and was told about this restaurant 10 years ago. I have lived here for 9 years now. I am gluten free I have so many wonderful things to say about them. Frank is an awesome guy, our server Joanne was so awesome to take care of all of my needs.Please visit Franks. Best Italian I've ever had.!!!!

Great food! Great staff! They have a gf rotini that they can swap out for almost any dish, even tue manicotti. The gf pasta isn't marked, but if you ask the server will inform you about it and will inform the kitchen to take precautions. They make everything fresh in clean pans so risk of cross contamination is low.

Highly recommend. No designated GF menu but based on such awesome reviews on FMGF we gave it a go. Server was knowledgeable. All meals are made in fresh/clean pans and pots. I did GF penne with grilled chicken in tomato basil sauce. It was divine!! And best of all no reaction and folks I am VERY sensitive. Definitely recommend.

Ordered takeout based on reviews on this app. Staff was friendly and made me feel confident in the gf pasta. They can make most any dish with gf pasta (penne). Our celiac daughter had pasta with marinara and enjoyed it. Also had a side salad. No reactions.

This was the best place we ate during our stay. The food was fresh, completely safe, and pretty much anything could be made gluten free. I have celiac and had no problems with eating here.

Our waiter was very helpful and said almost anything on the menu could be made gluten free. He mentioned they use corn starch instead of flour for thickening. They had gluten free penne as a pasta option in addition to their other menu offerings.

Frank’s Grill was a great place. You do need a reservation; we did not know that but luckily they had a table available and it was later in the night. The food was very good but I feel like I can only give it four stars. This is because when we were ordering we asked our waitress about the gluten free options. She said they had gluten free penne available, so we asked what sauces were ok to eat. She said none were gluten free. Ok... am I supposed to eat plain noodles? She was not very educated on what was gluten free. She then went back to the kitchen and came back and said the chef can accommodate and make anything gluten free. But she was not at all convincing and I was super nervous at this point that my sister and I, who are very sensitive and have celiac, were going to get sick no matter what we ate. We asked to talk to the chef just to be sure. Frank came out and assured us that what we wanted would be gluten free and explained what ingredients are in the sauces. I had the spaghetti with meat sauce with the penne, and my sister had fettuccini alfredo with penne. Both were very good and I would definitely recommend Frank’s Grill to anyone.

Staff was super helpful! No GF menu but could make what you want. My ten yo daughter was excited to have GF Alfredo. So happy we found Frank’s!

Delicious gf penne pasta! We have been coming to the keys for years and have never stumbled upon this restaurant. We will put it on our list of regular restaurants while visiting the keys.

The staff was amazingly good, and the food was spectacular! The chef would start cooking gf pasta Incase you ordered pasta! All of the pastas could be changed to gf!

This place was fantastic all around! I took Meagan's advice and we stopped in here. forgot to make the reservation, We had just came in to town and I remembered her review. They just had a table open up, so we were in luck! Our server, Mindy, had no clue what gluten was, but was super accommodating and talked with the chefs everytime I requested. She was fantastic! My wife and I had the motzerella, tomato, and roasted red peppers for an appetizer. For my main course I had the Chicken Marsala. It was delicious! My wife had the Spaghetti and Sausage. The others in our group had the Lasagna, Spaghetti and Meatballs, and Spaghetti and Meat sauce. Everyone raved about their meal so much, that we made reservations for later in the week! I have not gotten sick and it is noon the day after eating there. Fantastic local place. The pricing was great. $$ - $$$ Depending on what you ordered, but you won't be disappointed! No separate GF menu, and I didn't ask if they had GF pasta. I'll update review with anything new when we go back later this week!

This tiny little Italian restaurant came highly recommended by a server elsewhere, and it did not disappoint. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful with regards to our allergy and menu options. On top of it, the meals were DELICIOUS!!!!! The best meal we had all week! We most certainly will return on our next visit. MAKE RESERVATIONS!!!! You can tell how good the food is as it is ALWAYS packed with locals!!!!
