Staff were knowledgeable about celiac. Gf slices were on the top shelf of cabinet. Clearly labeled.

I lived in Mangawhai for the summer and this was my go to place for a slice. It's a gourmet deli with cabinet food and coffee and a quaint little seating area. While not gf kitchen I think they take care to prepare the gf slices seperately i think. I have eaten far too many of the chocolate peppermint slices and muesli slice (gf one, there are 2) and never had a problem as a Coeliac. highly recommend their smoked salmon and they often have gf savoury like frittata or salad also.
