Good food and fun atmosphere. Waitress seemed to have a lot going on so was not very helpful and seemed rushed to answer questions. Had done research and called prior so I felt safe. Got the fish and chips, big piece of fish with a great crunch! Overall good food.

Great restaurant with accommodating staff! They had gluten free beer, bread, and many of the meals could be adapted to be gluten free even if they weren’t.

Waiter was very knowledgeable and clarified that my food was gluten free when it came out.

Just got a salad, but they had gf shepherd’s pie and a gluten free fish fry both of which sounded great.

Had the gf fish and chips and really enjoyed them. The fish was crispy and not greasy. Better than what I remember of traditional fish and chips. Didn’t have dessert but they had some nice options. Good service and great location

I am a very sensitive coeliac and ate here in May. I had the fish and chips which were lovely and had no reaction at all, the staff were very understanding and made me feel safe.

Plenty of accommodations/options and a knowledgeable staff. The nachos and chicken melt were great! Gluten free bread available, too!

My daughter got the nachos that were marked gluten free. No issues at all. Waitress wasn’t the friendliest but we were there for the GF options which were satisfactory.

I had phenomenal beef and potato’s here, they were careful to avoid cross contamination and the meat just melted in your mouth. Highly recommend!

I don’t know who other reviewers had as a server or what menu they saw, but I left nearly as quickly as I came in. Our server tried to convince me beef & Guinness pie was gluten free. She was adamant. It was one of two options she said were gf. Easy decision to leave.

Great menu options! Every single allergin possible was listed with a dose at the bottom of the menu. Staff didn't event blink twice when I asked for gluten free fish and chips. Portion size was great! Staff were knowledgeable- waiter even mentioned the ketchup was gluten free! 45 min later and I'm still feeling great so I'd go ahead and say this is celiac friendly!

I have celiac and came here for dinner on vacation. I ordered a rockshore cider and I got a rockshore lager after telling the waitress I have celiac and having her check the cider was GF. Unfortunately I got very sick from the gluten beer. I left right away and did not get to try the food. It was a bar tender error and they did not charge us for the drinks we had already ordered.

Staff is very aware of gluten free diets.

Dedicated Fryer, buns/bread, knowledgeable staff, celiac friendly traditional Irish food. Good salads also.

GF marked on menu. Available GF also marked for foods that can be modified. Knowledgeable staff. Food from 12 to 9 week days 12 to 8 weekends. I had a lovely fish pie and the chips are GF. They have Shepard’s pie, beef stew, fish and chips, Thai curry. Started Nachos, wings, soup, seafood chowder, tempura prawn, loaded fries. Desert, apple and mixed berry crumble, brownie and sticky toffee pudding. Sambos toasted ham and cheese and a melt. Full bar and they have GF beer, ciders wine etc.

Great food, service, and atmosphere! The food was excellent and completely safe. I had the fish and chips, which was already GF, and my wife had a chicken sandwich and onion rings. The waitress even proactively asked if she was celiac. Would definitely visit again.

Great food for celiacs and non-celiacs! I had the fish and chips which were quite good. The atmosphere was also good if you like a somewhat quieter place. (Several of the nearby restaurants were quite noisy.)

I had an amazing experience at the Front Door when we visited Galway in March. The wait staff was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating of my gluten sensitivity and shellfish allergy. I was able to enjoy nachos, steak for dinner and dessert without any issues. I highly recommend checking out the Front Door.

Delicious! Lots of options. I had the loaded nachos. I have celiac, and I’m very sensitive, and this place was perfect.

All allergies are clearly marked! Celiac friendly with a dedicated fryer! Ate there twice. Fish and chips, mashed potatoes, onion rings. I also tried my hubbies beef stew and Shepard’s pie! All very tasty! I had no reaction or cross contamination!

GF marked on the menu - limited menu for Sunday brunch but staff seemed knowledgeable and assured me that a separate portion of the foods were prepared GF. My stew was delicious but I felt a little queasy afterwards...could just have been travel, but a caution for those who dine here in the future.

First time Celiac daughter has ever had fish and chips. Delicious. We also had the shepherd's pie. Menu was well marked and the staff was very helpful. Great pub atmosphere with live music. Would highly recommend it.

Amazing!!!! Gluten free onion rings, Gluten free sticky toffee pudding and OMG Orchard Theives Cider on tap!!! A must for any with gluten allergies and all their friends without allergies as well. Service was incredible! So friendly and helpful. Mom and Hubby got wings and Dad got the Barbeque Chicken Burger. Would SO go again!!! :-D

On vacation from the States and I have IBS, so a lot of food, including food with Gluten in them, I cannot eat. I had the shepherds pie and chips, it was fantastic and I didn’t have any reaction to the food. The menu was clearly marked and easy to find food I could eat.

Very nice selection of gluten free dishes. Had the shephards pie and onion rings, both were delicious, but the rings were phenomenal.

A couple ciders available too, didn't ask a out gf beer.

This restaurant was exceptional. The manager spoke to us extensively. All of their battered dishes are gf. Best onion rings I have ever had, even compared to gluten battered. My son is Celiac and I feel that he is safe eating here. We will be going back, I am looking forward to trying the fish and chips!

Fantastic food with many gf options and pretty knowledgeable staff. The decor is beautiful! Hubby had gf fish & chips with mushy peas and it was excellent. I had the cheese nachos, also excellent and gf. Highly recommend. We're here three nights and planning to eat there again!
