Review of Frontera Cocina

We had a great experience here. We let the hostess know we would need gluten free when we put our names in. When seated the server, Uriel, arrived and welcomed us and said he'd seen we needed gluten free and confidently told us about the menu and the few items that had gluten and which could be modified to be without it. The menu also clearly listed gluten (also dairy and seafood) on each menu item. There were plenty of options for gluten free (probably the majority were gluten free honestly). We split their guacamole with bacon and gf tortilla chips, I got the chicken enchiladas without the crispy onions because that was all that had gluten in that dish, my husband got the carnitas with warm house made non gmo corn tortillas. I also got a side of fried plantains and we split a glass of house made sangria. The food was amazing and the server was very confident, knowledgable and accommodating regarding gluten free options which was reassuring.
