Like the Fuji Sushi in San Marco, this is a buffet. They are quick. Sushi and the like flying everywhere. There are GF options here but limited. Have to bring your own GF soy sauce (don’t forget it when you leave). You can ask for chicken, steak, or salmon or cooked veggies but need to specify on your ticket that you need a cleaned wok and don’t use soy sauce, but that’s obviously tricky. It’s good to write “no crunch” on your ticket to avoid insertion of fried bits into your sushi. Shrimp tempura items are obviously out. Crab is imitation and out. Talking to the wait staff helps about awareness and need for a clean knife. But it’s really not set up like some non-buffet sushi places where you can get all your sushi made by one person knowing your specific GF needs. Doesn’t feel like a lot of awareness of GF, you have to teach. So takes a ton more effort and lots of caution. Easiest to go to a non buffet place, there are some attentive ones in Jax. The GF items are good.
