EDIT: I got extremely sick here. The roll I specified to be gluten free arrived with crunch, and I didn’t realize until I ate some of it. The waitress barely understood me too. My last experience here was a horrible one, and I’m not sure if I’ll be returning.
My celiac partner and I did not have any issues here. The servers are usually knowledgeable and we order the sexy angel roll gluten free, with no crunch. The food is pretty good, but the prices are extremely high. I do not always fall ill from eating here, but sometimes I do.
I called first and explained I have celiac and could have gluten or anything cross contamination with food. The waiter admitted he wasn’t an expert but assured me to ask when I came and they will be able to accommodate. We went with a party of 5 in the afternoon when it wasn’t busy.
They brought over a gluten free soy sauce bottle. I got a couple of very basic rolls that were served to me first.
Overall we had a good experience and will go back.
I do have celiac but…I am very new to the diagnosis (blood and biopsy) and am not sure what my symptoms would be if I was exposed to gluten.
