Worst GF pizza and now it ruined my trip, feeling very sick. They told me it’s safe and they take precautions but not really. 0 stars

It’s tasty, way better than Pizza Hut or udis or some swill like that - and I’ve had a good track record with safety - BUT
they’re not very careful with the cooking of the GF ones. Gooey watery center, crispy edges ; and if you get it delivered just know it will be cold ; they don’t Insulate in anything
I feel like with a little more care and if they actually advertised the Gluten free pizzas they’d have the best gluten free pizza in the LA area, it’s just that little attention to detail to cook em correctly - otherwise I must say I’m impressed by not getting sick eating here or eating delivery from here yet.
If they start cooking em better I’ll update the review

I'm celiac and I've been here about 5 times now. although the pizza is cooked in the same oven, I thought it should be safe enough since the gf dough is prepared in a dedicated area. The dough is delicious, each time i have to tear off a piece and give to my bf to check if his is different. The first few times I went i did not have symptoms, however this last time i went i started feeling sick and showing symptoms the night of and the day after. I'm not sure if it's because I ate it 2 days apart from each other, maybe there was build up of gluten? I'm not really sure. the other times were spaced out at least a week in-between. so just be warned and try at your own risk!

The GF pizza dough is excellent. Best we’ve had. And it’s egg free which is a plus! The owner told me they make the GF crust on set mornings away from the other dough. But it is cooked in the same oven with gluten items.

The BEST pizza ever! Both GF & normal pizza bases were the same size & absolutely delicious. Very authentic Italian pizza. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about contamination & even confirmed that a different pizza cutter would be used. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

The server wasn't convincing with her canned speech about gluten: "the only thing here that's gluten free is the pizza; not even the salads." I pressed a little more, and she asked the chef some questions. We learned that the tomato sauce is gluten free, the pizza crusts are prepared elsewhere, but they are baked in the same oven as the regular pizzas. With such a small chance of cross contamination, I decided to give it a shot. I did like the fact that they could put any toppings on a gluten free crust, unlike some restaurants that only serve one variety of gluten free pizza. I did not, however, ask about the ingredients in all of the toppings. Anyway, I felt fine after eating the pizza, and it was delicious!
