The staff was very knowledgeable and the food was great! Lots of options. I actually was worried when I started eating that they forgot to give me a gluten free wrap as it was so good!!! I react very easily to cross contamination and would definitely go back! Highly recommend!!

This small space is loaded with everything gluten free; everything from snacks to veggie burgers; everything from pita bread to falafel. The people who work there have helpful recommendations. All the products I have tried have been very good.

We buy most of our gf food at G-Free NYC. Lynne is so knowledgable and helpful. She has a knack for selecting the best gf products and her prices are very reasonable.

Lynn is amazing and gets the joke. We are newly gluten and dairy free and this was like a personal shopper walking us through all the best of the bests. We are so lucky to live two blocks away. Incredible.

If you are gluten free and a foodie this is the place for you. While at first glance you may see a few familiar brands, this store is primarily packed with unusual and great tasting products. Two brands of frozen ravioli, Italian pasta shells and tubes for stuffing, Sweet Note and Laurie's bagels, Perdue chicken tenders, dumplings, Sonoma and Smart Flour pizza, Bgreen pasta, Nutterly cookies, Laiki crackers, cake pops, Euforia cake slices, The Maine Pie Co. pies, The Konery artisanal waffle cones to name just a few. The owners really have gone out of their way to select unique products that taste amazing.

Please open a G-Free NYC in every city to make it easier for me and others to indulge in amazing tasting gluten free food. The quality of the products here are A++++++. You can tell everything has been carefully selected with so many unique items it's hard to leave this place with just one or two things. Fresh bread most days is a treat too. Thank you!

This store is a little gem. I found so many products that I had never seen before and they were all delicious! Many healthy options too. I'm addicted to their bagels, fresh bread and truffle cookies.

It was great to go here and be able to trust that the products will be high quality. I was surprised by how reasonably priced everything was, relatively speaking. The prices are comparable to local grocery stores ($7.99 for a loaf of bread), but instead of getting a loaf of Udi's, I got a loaf of lovely, soft, never-been-frozen bread from an independent NY bakery. Same price, better product. This is a great business to support.

On a recent trip to New York City I had some extra time the day I was to depart and decided to visit G-Free NYC to see if they had anything I could take home with me. I've been gluten free for over 10 years and know most of the products out there so I wasn't expecting a lot. To my surprise, most of the products in the store I had not seen or heard of. The owner told me that she seeks out new products that must taste great. And, she was absolutely right...everything I bought tasted amazing! On my next trip back, I will definitely bring a bigger suitcase.

G-Free NYC has been my go to spot for getting all the gluten free goods I need all under the same roof. They have an extensive range of gf products that they source from all over the tri-state area as well as from other countries. Every time I visit I always find new products to try and I never have to worry about whether or not what they carry tastes good because most of the products they stock have been taste tested by the owner and staff.

I would absolutely recommend this store to any gluten free or recently gluten free person. The staff is super helpful and they never have trouble answering my gluten related questions.

My only complaint is that I wish they had another store location downtown.

LOVE this store!!! There are so many unique products you cannot get any where else...DePuma's ravioli, GFL Pita, Gee Free pastry dough and spanakopita, Le Venzienne pasta, Walker's shortbread,Tonya's pretzels, Laurie's bagels and fresh bread from local bakers every day. I could go on because I saw so many products I had never seen before. Pricing is VERY reasonable too and they are extremely nice even giving me a restaurant list.

Overpriced and not much of a selection. Maybe that is because I was there later in the day, but I was disappointed. What I had was just okay.

I always end up spending a fortune when I visit, but it's so nice to be able to definitely find everything you need, instead of praying to the whole food karma gods that you might find GF crackers today.

Owners have ordered things in when I asked about items they didn't have.

Lots of GF grocery options and treats, all in one place, without needing to order from the Internet. I'd have liked it if I could have found a gluten-free, dairy-free meal here, but I couldn't.

This is the only place to shop if you are gluten free and have high standards. I shop here because of the unique products that I can't get anywhere else (like DePuma's pasta). The Laurie's bagels are AMAZING as are the daily fresh bread and baked goods (Main Line Baking Co delivers on Thurs). I've never been disappointed and always come back to try other new products because I trust their taste. Plus they have beer!

It's a tiny little store with all the same packaged gluten free food you'd find anywhere else. It's fine if you're in the area and want a bag of cookies but not worth making a trip for it.

Great selection: all items are GF and many are dairy-free/vegan/etc. It has the best selection of GF items you'd never know were GF -- a well considered selection. The owner and staff know their products well, and are extremely helpful. If you haven't been there, you're missing out on a lot of outstanding food options. Whether you're a NYer looking for daily staples or a tourist interested in finding out about a variety of GF products you might not have heard of, it's and essential stop for any of us who are GF.
