It was okay. They have a separate GF menu and the waitress was helpful, I just didn’t think the food was very good. I had chicken nachos and didn’t feel great after, maybe from salt or grease.

Celiac. Waitress was excellent. They have a pretty decent GF menu. Food was good. Ordered Nachos. It was kind of like a taco salad with gf chips. I would go back again if we traveled through there.

I had a great experience at the Gabby Goat. There is a separate gf menu with lots of options. There is a full bar. Long Drink and Ciders but no gf beer. I ordered the beef brisket tacos. They were delicious. No taco shell but a side of chips instead which was more than adequate. I enjoyed a side of cole slaw. Our waitress was very friendly. Our food arrived within minutes. The kitchen closes at 9pm. Don’t miss it! I really appreciate that they offer the gf chips. Too many restaurants do not offer a gf chip and will not allow the patron to bring their own.

Gluten free menu available and staff knowledgeable about what to order. Good service. 👍

This is a fun, lively place! There is a gluten free menu with many, many choices. We went for lunch and enjoyed delicious sauerkraut soup and catfish Caesar salad. Both were very tasty and unique. We highly recommend!

Gabriel, our server, checked with the chef to be sure the Thursday night special (ribs) would not be subject to cross contamination. There was a separate menu with many choices. The food was delicious!

Gluten free buffalo chicken dip with choice of gf chips, delicious and a cheeseburger on gf bun. Wonderful and no gf related issues
I enjoy their gluten free menu showing all the options they will make for you. Much more variety than most restaurants. I had the gluten free brisket tacos. They were made as a bowl type entree with gluten free chips. It was tasty!

We use to stop in here when th ey had a dedicated fryer. I called today to double check and they do NOT have a dedicated fryer.
The fryers are dedicated, so fries are safer than usual. I got a toast-less horsehoe. 10/10

I actually stopped by for takeout while driving through based on the reviews on this site. The buns are Udi’s so if you don’t like the cardboard taste of Udi’s, don’t both getting anything with a bun. GF Menu is a very short list of dinners and salads. The fryer is NOT dedicated as someone mentioned and that is specifically called out on their GF menu. We’re still in CaoVID-19 pandemic. The staff and bartenders were not observing proper mask wearing/social distancing and I was largely blown off so the group of young servers could continue chatting and directed to the busy bar area where one bartender had a chin diaper mask and the other wasn’t wearing one at all. If that bothers you, avoid it. I came for fries and a sandwich to go, but decided it wasn’t worth it as the items I was interested in were not GF at all. Small hole-in-the wall bar & grill. Loud sports bar atmosphere.

Great, knowledgeable staff. GF buns are made in St Louis, and were delicious! They have a separate fryer for GF, too! Will come back when coming anywhere near the area!

Great place to stop for a quick bite! Many gf options! I had buffalo wings and a house salad and my daughter had the wedge. Super fresh and all dressings are gf and made in house!
Amazing!!! Kyndall was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They have a gluten free menu with lots on it. They also have a dedicated fryer and separate cooking utensils. It was very busy during lunch, yet food came out quickly. I am gluten intolerant and ordered the Jonathon sandwich on a gluten free bun. It was so tasty, I ate the whole thing. My husband ordered the Kidd burger and loved it. We shared the sweet potato fries that came with an awesome butter rum sauce that is addictive and tasted more like dessert than a side. All this for $22. I’ve bookmarked this one, I will definitely make this a stop on our way from Michigan to Texas and back. Kyndall even offered us waters to go since she knew we were traveling! Thank you Kyndall, you are superb!

The staff was friendly and there were so many gluten free options. So pleased with this experience!
Owners are knowledgeable about gf dining. I have not had a reaction to eating here yet. And it’s delish!
Nice nice place. Gluten free buns was delicious. Staff was very helpful!
There is no gluten free menu, or buns. There are gluten free options like cottage cheese. The waiter was very nice and answered all of our questions, and even went to the kitchen to ask how food was prepared.
this place has GF buns, but nothing else... no separate friers and only has flour based tortilla chips.
No
They really do have gluten free buns for burgers and sandwiches..... I didn't see it in the website- but they do have them, and they are delicious!!!!
Called and they said they "might be able to make something GF but they didn't know what it is." Why is it on find me gf?
Rated #3 Best place to eat in Effingham by Trip Advisor. Very understanding and caring about Celiac. Unmarinated chicken breast, Kettle Chips, amazing hot dogs & burgers with gf bun, raw veggie plate, fresh coleslaw, salads, cottage cheese. For gluten eaters they have Chicago Dogs & Italian Beefs!
