This was a very weird and unpleasant dining experience. First our “reservation” seated in an awkward place that wasn’t meant to seat guests - at the end of the bar with no overhanging counter, no place to put my jacket or hang my purse, and right in the traffic line of the entry door. When we looked around, many tables were composed as 4 tops stuffed with 5 diners, tables in awkward corners… I get that you want to maximize revenue, but I paid $40 bucks for the appetizer that poisoned me. I want to be able to take my jacket off at least, and I don’t want to elbow someone in the head while I’m doing it.
Second, yeah… totally poisoned. After going through the menu with the waiter, I asked if the frier was shared -information that he did not volunteer while enumerating all of their “gluten free” options (spoilers - it is). Great, so that eliminated many things, and then when my appetizer, which I had picked on the advice of my server, finally arrived - I knew it had gone in the frier the second I put a bite in my mouth.
Gave the rest to my partner, but the damage was done. Insides on fire, and the food wasn’t even worth it. Do not recommend.
