I live in Kailua and stopped in here one day. The staff are amazing and the owner is striving to create a safe GF restaurant. I asked about product sourcing and one of the staff checked a few items and the lentils were processed in a facility that also processes wheat. To me that rang potential CC. If the lentils are washed really well, does that decrease the risk enough? I want to talk with the owner about souring, because if they slightly refine their sources, then I could actually dine out somewhere on this island. I was dx in December 2024, so it hasn’t even been a year yet. Naturally GF is easy, it’s the CC that makes being Celiac so challenging. This place is wonderful and I hope I can eat here soon. GF Indian food is a dream! I’m giving them 5 stars for effort, but they need to be more caution with sourcing lentils, rice etc to decrease risk from CC in supply chain. I would pay more for a dosa knowing if it was truly GF. I also already know they will be delicious, so given the taste 5 stars too.
I loved it! Unique and very tasty! Everything is glutenfree and plant based. Must go, when in Kailua
Love this place! Ate here twice while in Kailua. I have multiple food allergies and they were easily able to accommodate me. The dosas are delicious and the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. They use only olive oil which is good for me since I have several oil sensitivities.
Everything is gluten free. Everyone in our party loved it even though they don’t have to eat gluten free.
It is so damn good, I recommend this place to all and especially to celiacs because it’s a dedicated gluten free restaurant and it has such amazing crepes
All gluten free!! Very yummy and nice staff, prices are a little high but not horrible. I got the mediterranean dosa and it was sooo good. It was about two meals for me. (picture only shows half the dosa)
We loved the food here. We only wished that they had longer hours since they were always closed before we could get there for dinner after our day's events. Other than that, it was great!
The food was delicious. I got the full belly dosa and loved it. The whole place is gluten free.
Great place and delicious food. Kinda spicy but it’s dedicated GF so worth it!
Really delicious! Classic Indian dhosas with a few extras (dhosas with cheese, sun dried tomatoes etc). Nice little place with indoor and outdoor seating. I didn’t see anything might contain gluten.
Food was delicious. We personally liked the ones with potato the best, but there’s a variety for different people. Everything is gluten free so there is no cross contamination.
All the food was gluten free and delicious!!! The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely felt safe eating here. Lots of options.
Everything is GF! Great food and cute spot. I had the chef’s recommendation with tomato chutney. Great for lunch and quick service.
First I am just so thrilled they are 100% gluten free. And then as a bonus it was absolutely delicious. It’s so great to be able to order anything on the menu and not ask questions. We had three of the savory crepes and they were all fantastic. The goat cheese is such a special treat if you can eat dairy. The place is all vegetarian and vegan. We loved the tomato chutney much more than the coconut.
This is a 100% gluten free Indian crepe restaurant and the food here is so good. They have a variety of savory options and one sweet. There are also vegan/vegetarian choices and build your own. The crepes are made of rice and lentils and get crispy and delicious. They also have the best chai. I highly recommend trying it out.
