Sad they are closing. Is the gluten free bakery going to remain open? I noted HyVee in DeKalb only has a few products left🙁

Wonderful artisan gluten free baked goods!

Delicious buns and steakburgers.
Since it is a gf bakery too, I was expecting the restaurant to be GF as well... There were a ton of GF items available, but it wasn't completely gf. Food was very good and staff was great.
We also ordered a 3 pack of gf cinnamon rolls for breakfast the next day. Very good. More of a sticky honey bun than a cinnamon roll, but still very good.

Totally fabulous and worth the serious detour off the highway. They have four kinds of GF bread, and a whole bunch of yummy sandwiches and a few GF desserts. We had the fried green tomato and bacon sandwich and a Reuben. Great homemade food that's casual and comforting. Service was fast and friendly too.

so so good !! much to pick from !!! 1
Awesome sandwich. The waitress said you can buy their breads and sweets at HyVee and other small coffee shops in town. We will bring a cooler next time we are in town to stock up on bread!!!

Great food and the gluten free bun I had was awesome! Cheesecake was amazing but I heard the cinnamon roles were supposed to be great too. I'll have to check them out again because they took those off the menu and are working on a honey bun? Sounds amazing to me! Also never got sick which is the best part! (Many gf places only claim to be gf and the aftermath is never pleasant :/ )

Was a bit disappointed. Went by to pick up some G free bakery goods for home. What I was able to get had been frozen for a while and was not worth what I had to pay for it. Seems I would have better off ordering food but their website says they are a bakery.
Maybe the actual bakery is in a different location.

This is a small manufacturer who creates artisan breads like Brioche, focaccia, cinnamon honey buns, pie crust, cakes, cheese cakes, to die for brownies, and a Chicago onion and caraway bread that taste like rye bread. Every thing is made from scratch with high quality ingredients. All of their products have been third party tested and test UNDER 5ppm of gluten.

They say pretty much any sandwich can be made gf. The staff explained to me which few could not and had a good understanding of what could contain gluten. They actually have about 3 different types of gf bread, which was nice. I would have appreciated a gf menu though- it just clarifies everything. However, they did offer me the gf dessert of the day which was a slice of tuxedo cake which was beyond amazing!!
absolutely fantastic

I absolutely love this place. We are lucky yo have them and they offer their bakery items in the local grocery store!! It's definitely celiac friendly.
Great atmosphere, good food, but not much selection. I wasn't too find of the bread for my sandwich, but I didn't get sick. Really enjoyed the brownie!
Cinnamon rolls are excellent. Their flour is tested to assure it is gluten free.

Visited for the first time today! On the menu, the GF options are not clearly known but the staph was great at letting me know what I could have! I had the Italian beef on a bun, which crumbled terribly, so I had to eat it with a fork vs like a sandwich! Atmosphere was great! Brought home some GF cake that was devine! I'll definitely visit again!

Good food in a relaxing atmosphere and easy to eat gluten free.

Amazing!! Stopped in on our way back to Chicago. They make gluten free baked goods and cinnamon rolls. I had the best burger of my life on a delicious gf bun. I even ended up buying 2 loaves of bread and a pack of rolls to bring home. A gem of a place. Wish they were in Chicago...
Delicious gluten free bread for sandwiches. Also they carry an assortment of breads for sale.

Outstanding... breads, cinnamon rolls, etc.
Ganson's offers gluten free bread with their entrees. Be careful though, I ordered a burger with sour kraut and they put flour in their sour kraut, so my "Looney Burger" ended up being just a normal burger. I was really disappointed about that. They did not have the option of plain sour kraut. At least they told me, right?!
