Foods were marked clearly. Staff brought over a small card indicating which foods were safe. We inquired about concerns for cross contamination in the buffet. They said they had staff who were monitoring whether utensils contaminated other dishes. However, like all buffets, I noticed several incidents of cross contamination. They did not offer meals prepared directly from the kitchen. Also had a strange experience at the ice cream station? My younger cousin happened to ask if the ice cream was safe for celiac and the person said no. Normally I wouldn’t have even asked for something like Chocolate Ice Cream. So we asked if it had cookies or anything like that in it. The employees insisted it was “normal chocolate ice cream” and was therefore not gluten free. Even though chocolate ice cream shouldn’t have any gluten in it? The workers called over supervisors who gave the same responses…strange but shook some confidence in terms of understanding Celiac’s Disease.

We originally did not order any food at the PCC. We did this because their website wasn’t clear about GF. When we got to the PCC, our ticket agent said they had tons of GF food and the servers or chef could make a plate.
Long story short, when we went to the buffet line we started with the hostess, who got a manager, who got the chef. The chef plated four full plates of GF food and we didn’t have an issue with any of the food.
So with some work, the PCC can accommodate GF.

Everything on the buffet is labeled gluten free if it doesn’t contain gluten ingredients. It’s a buffet, so there is probably some cross contamination but it looked clean and well stocked. Dairy and nut free items are also marked. There is a large selection of gluten free options, including desserts. I enjoyed my meal and it made my day at the center even better.
