This restaurant has been here for years. Not a lot has changed in that time, which is part of its charm. I also think it has some of the best green Chile in the region. I ordered the blue corn cheese enchiladas with green Chile. The green Chile is GF and delicious. It came with beans and New Mexican style pozole, which is more of a side dish and not the soup. The server checked with the kitchen to make sure they were GF and safe. Our server was great and the drinks were good. Everything comes with sopapillas at the end which are definitely NOT GF. My family doesn’t mind the extra one I can’t eat.

Service is too laid back, place is a tad run down. Food was so so. Ended up sick for hours after ordering a margarita, chips and guacamole and steak/chicken fajitas. I wouldn’t go back just based off of service and getting sick from food.

Food had no taste, enchilada sauce was out of a can, salsa tasted only of cayenne pepper and tomato. Margaritas weren’t good either.
This popular restaurant is not celiac friendly. I spoke with the chef and a common fryer is used for the corn tortillas. He called it less gluten, which doesn’t work for me.

I eat here a lot with no issues. Just tell them you are gluten free and they will change gloves. Good fresh , healthy food.
My favorite place in town!

Good food. Not a huge selection but good food and a wide variety. Good service.
