Beautiful gelato, with GF cones but the cones are small. You may be better off having a cup.

There is a warning sign about contamination. Also the woman that helped us warned us. Still we wanted to try the ice cream. She got a clean spoon and took the ice from a new container in the back.

So happy we tried it, best ice cream ever and no contamination!

When i mentioned my son has coeliac they went to get the ice cream at the back from a new basket, just so it was certain to be safe. I din’t have to ask. Also got a wrapped spoon with it. Very good first experience

Unfortunately they don’t take icecream out of the back and there is a chance that icecream is contaminated. As a Celiac, that was too big a risk for me.

Was not able to sample the flavors because any GF cone or cup is served from the back to avoid cross contamination. We also got an individually warped spoon. Felt very safe.

The ice cream was unbelievable. Especially the grapefruit and the ricotta-blueberry. Wow!

Amazing Gelato!! They had GF cones and got the gelato from out the back to avoid contamination. A must have when in San Gimignano

Great gelato here. I told them I was coeliac and they informed me they had gluten-free cones but the ice cream was made at a shared facility and not all flavours are GF. They went to get the gelato from the back to avoid cross contamination from the gelato on display.

I asked the server if the chocolate gelato was gluten free because my son has celiac disease. She said yes but stuck a cone on top of his ice cream. I told her he can’t have it. She then took the cone off and handled it to us. I said no, that’s not safe for him. She gave me a nasty look and reluctantly scooped another cup for us.

Such kind helpful people!! Willing to go to the back to fresh cartons to make sure there is no cross contamination. Came back 4xs during my stay in this city.
