Gelateria La Romana

I was planning to get ice cream here but the allergy warning made me leave. They take all precautions about creating the ice cream as GF but cannot guarantee against cross contamination from the non GF cones. Too bad cause it was probably tasty. There was a huge lineup on a semi-warm rainy day. Celiacs should avoid but gluten intolerant probably ok.

— Not very

Got gelato here on last day in Verona. Excellent flavors! They told me which ones were gluten free and offered me a gluten free cone. The gf cones are good and come in many sizes. There’s a cafe as well but I’m not sure what is gluten free and what’s not. Overall, staff was helpful and the gelato was fantastic!
