Apart from being unclear on the sprinkles allergens, they were aware of cross contamination and were careful handling the gluten free cones (which were stored in plastic wrapping) and used a clean scope and took ice cream from lower down the tub to minimise risk of cross contamination. The ice cream and GF cone were delicious. We will definitely be going back!
The place has gluten free cones for 1,50 Euros more, but staff does not know what gluten is, let alone contamination. One staff member thought that gluten, lactose and vegan is the same thing (!). Also high contamination risk according to the owner due to the fact that they use the spatulas for putting ice on normal cones and therefore gluten can stay on the spatula. I saw them put ice on the cone and can say: this definitely happens due to their technique and I would not reccommend the place for celiacs!
