Delicious food! Fast service. Gluten free options! They make gluten free bread and pancakes. They even have gluten free English muffins for the eggs Benedict. Home fries are great (and gf :); add peppers and onions for some extra goodness. The George McMuffin is a Carmel staple.
My husband is gluten free and we eat here all the time. He’s never had an issue. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

They used to be careful for people with celiac but now very sloppy Cross contaminated twice on me and both times the gluten free eggs and bread made me very sick.

My wife and I loved the gluten free pancakes and French toast!
Their gluten free toast with my breakfast was delicious! An unexpected surprise since gluten free bread is seldom good. I will definitely go there again. The wait staff is friendly and warm.

Amazing food, get the GF pancakes. I've never had such amazing pancakes since I was diagnosed with CD.

Just ate at George's for my first time. I am moving up to Carmel from lower Westchester. Honestly they have one of the best and homemade gluten free breads. The waitress was so nice and reassuring about the items that were gluten free. I had both the regular and the cinnamon raisin bread. AWESOME. The cinnamon raisin was probably the best cinnamon raisin gf bread I have tried. I love the cozy "mom and pop" feel. It's not nice being forced to only go to corporate or chain restaurants where they don't care about their customers. At George's it seemed like they really care. The lady who makes the bread does it because of the customers and offered to make a loaf for me as well!! When I move up to Carmel this will be my #1 breakfast spot. And the prices are great, especially coming from Westchester where everything is ridiculously overpriced.

There aren't many places like this left. Don't mind the reviews from the city tools who think this is the country. George's is an old fashioned luncheonette type place and they shouldn't change a thing!
