Gertz Danish Bakery

Today I accidentally passed by this bakery and recognized the name from this app.

I went there and asked - and they have a lot of gluten-free options in the freezer. Cakes and buns. Actually quite a lot to choose between 😊

They also bake their own gluten-free fresh buns, but they informed me about the risk of cross contamination in these buns due to the fact, that they are baked in the same oven, so I just bought the safe options from the freezer instead.

They have several cakes and bread. Very nice surprise to walk into 😊

Gertz Danish bakery har skilt både uden- og indenfor bagerforretningen med, at det er muligt at få en glutenfri rugbrødsbolle til deres sandwich. Jeg går derfor derind, men da jeg bestiller er det ikke muligt. De har ikke flere glutenfri boller. Jeg spørger om det er normalt de løber tør, hvis jeg kommer tilbage til Nyborg en anden dag. Dette siger 2 ekspedienter det er. Jeg spørger efterfølgende om de har andet glutenfri ved bageren? Ekspedienten svarer at der ikke er noget brød og kommer slet ikke ind på om nogen af kagerne er glutenfri. Jeg er derinde med 2 andre, der tåler gluten og laver derfor en bestilling til dem. Jeg måtte gentage bestillingen mindst 3 gange. Jeg får ingen bon og ventetiden er lang. Faktisk oplever vi andre der kom efter os får deres sandwich før vi fik vores to go. Så jeg må sige servicen er elendig og efter jeg hørte man nemt kan gå forgæves når man ikke tåler gluten, jo så tvivler jeg på, at jeg vender tilbage.
