Completely gluten free. I had a panini and it was sooo good. really exciting to find somewhere i can safely eat! hadn’t had a panini from anywhere but home for agess.
Cozy gluten-free café just around the corner from Haymarket tram station. I was impressed by the variety of options on the menu and was tempted to order every item! I opted for the ham and cheese panini, which was delicious, and I also got a caramel shortcake to take away. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, readily offering recommendations when I asked for their favorites. The café is quite small and often busy, so I recommend arriving early.
Great that these lads are doing the hard yards for those that need GF! Cheers
I am writing this from the café after having just finished one of the best meals I've had since coming to Scotland a year ago. If you come here you will be spoiled for choice and service. Everything on the menu is GF and the owners go above and beyond. Had the full breakfast with hashbrown, potato pancake, fried eggs, streaky bacon, sausage, and an orange juice for under £10. The hours can be a little unpredictable due to small staffing, but if you have the time and patience to keep trying, you will definitely NOT be disappointed. Highly recommend and will absolutely be back.
We popped in for brunch and were not disappointed! Fantastic food and all GF but even better was the gentle atmosphere. A very special place.
The food was fabulous and many things lots of choice. I left with a bag of goodies too. The staff/owner is incredibly helpful. It is tiny in size but well worth the wait.
I would highly recommend this little gem.
I had a hangry teenager on the train up from Newcastle & there were no gf/oat free options on the train. Quick google and found this place so we headed straight there from the station. It’s quite small but we got there at 11.30 and managed to grab a table for two. The guy who served us was so lovely- explained all the options available to us and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Food was served very quickly - full breakfast and a sausage and egg sarnie. Was delicious. Placed filled up quickly - bit of a coeliac Mecca!! I would def recommend. One happy teenager with a full tummy meant we had a lovely day in Edinburgh 😁
All gluten free with lots of vegan/dairy free options as well. One of my favourites! Staff is so friendly and food is amazing. I’ve been going for years and it’s such a great place. Prices are also amazing for the city! The soup and paninis are so nice, especially with the weather!
This place is great! We love finding a dedicated GF space and this one was full of customizable options. I was able to add whatever ingredients I wanted to a breakfast panini and enjoyed it with sausage, cheese, avocado, & egg. I also got a great smoothie. Staff is lovely and the bread on the panini was delicious!
Lovely little establishment. We had lunch here on our recent trip to Edinburgh. Paninis for all five of us and a sausage roll to share. All the food was delicious. Best cup of tea I had in Edinburgh. The gentleman behind the counter was very obliging. Such a treat to eat in a completely gluten free restaurant. Full marks from us. Well done.
This place was so cute and the food was incredible! They have sandwiches, rolls, breakfast, and some pastries/cakes. I wanted to get everything, but I ended up getting the leek and potato soup, a cheese and onion panini with bacon, and some tea. For all of the rolls and paninis, you can add any other ingredients or sauces to it, including bacon, spinach, tomato, BBQ sauce, etc. You can make it however you’d like. They also have breakfast all day and can get a full gluten free English breakfast. The owners are the best ever. There were two of them at the time I went (usually 3) and were extremely kind, sweet, and funny. The only thing is that since it is so busy with little staff it does take a little bit to get the food prepared. I wish I was in Edinburgh longer so that I could go to this cafe every day!
Lovely little shop with an extremely friendly & knowledgeable owner. Overwhelming amount of options including salads, rolls, paninis, pasta, & everything breakfast you could want. Dedicated gluten free shop and as a celiac of 15 years I wish I had this shop back in Ontario where I’m from. 100% would recommend to anyone celiac or not celiac.
