After some email communication, it was clear that they understood Coeliac disease well and would ensure to avoid CC.
Server was able to explain what I could and couldn't have on the menu. Fries for instance were OK, separate fryer!
The steak and 'mixed grill' dishes we had were both exceptional quality. Some of the best food we have eaten. Good value considering the quality.
We didn't have much room left of course - but the waitress informed us that the ice-cream was home made and also GF.
My goodness... It was GOOD. Pistachio was heaven in a bowl.
Good idea to book ahead here. If it is closed on your desired day then 'Bad Gfrill' is further up the road and is owned by the brother of the head chef at Gfrillerhof. He is open on the other days and also understands about GF.
If you get a chance to visit the family farm after - it is super.
