We went to GG’s because of this app. The owner was very reassuring about how they manage gluten and minimize any risk of cross contamination. Felt special having my own menu that answered my questions without having to ask! Lovely owner. We enjoyed the avocado and shrimp appetizer. I had the Cioppino. I have had it at 2 other places and this was the best so far. The margarita was delightful!

We sat down at two other restaurants in town and left both because they seemed too risky for anyone with celiac disease. This place has an extensive gluten free menu and the server immediately asked if I had celiac and was super accommodating. I had skewers with chicken breast, onions, and peppers plus there was gluten free toast, rice pilaf, a side of roasted squash, plus yogurt dressing. Delicious, safe for celiacs, plus we got to eat outside, I’d definitely go again.

I called earlier in the day to confirm they had celiac safe options. When we arrived, the manager remembered the call when I asked for the gluten free menu and was extremely accomodating. He made sure that my gluten free food was ordered and prepared completely separately from my non-gf family's food. The gyro rice bowl was delicious and I didn't feel sick after eating. 10/10!!

Great place. GF menu and bread. Fries not GF is the only drawback. Good find for toddlers as there is GF butter noodles haha.

Fabulous gluten free dining experience! I had the pesto shrimp & arugula salad, both were delicious. I talked with one of the owners and they store all of the gluten free pastas, bread etc in a separate location. GG's Bistro completely understands cross-contamination & has an extensive list of gluten free options, even listing gluten free specialty cocktails!

GIGI’s offers a huge separate gf menu. They are very knowledgeable and take celiac seriously. I had the pesto and shrimp pasta and also tried the cioppino. Highly recommend!

Stopped last minute and was hesitant because of mixed reviews. Asked for a Gluten free menu and was asked if it was a preference or Celiac. (Impressed) Ordered the Steak Kabob, came with rice pilaf and slice of bread and the arugula salad.. EVERYTHING was amazing!! Had a too good to be true experience and didn't get sick or even a hint of symptoms. This WILL be our new go to spot. Can't wait to go back!

They have a separate gluten-free menu. Some of the servers are knowledgeable while others are not. I've had the squid, chicken kabob, the cioppino, & shrimp appetizer/lunch entree. All are decent. I have eaten here over 10 times and have not gotten sick, so I'll continue to be a customer.

What a great dinner! They had a separate gluten free menu that was celiac-safe, including drinks and separate clean plates. My non-gf boyfriend ordered the fish and chips and I was notified that his french fries were not gluten free. I ALWAYS steal some of his french fries so I was so grateful for this notification. Cannot recommend enough.

They did not provide a gf menu right away, even though my husband said I had celiac when he made the reservation. I didn’t know there was a separate GF menu so I ordered a drink that I assumed was safe, but after telling our waiter I had celiac, he said my drink wasn’t safe because it wasn’t on the gluten free menu. My meal was fine - there weren’t many GF entree options. I felt fine after, but the food was not great.

So they were familiar with gluten free and brought me a menu. If you have kids, none of the kids items are gluten free. My kids shared a kabob and rice with tzaziki sauce. The hostess informed me she was out of gf bread so the sandwiches would be out of the question. However, my sons dish came out with toast on it. The food runner brought an extra plate for my daughter to share with my son. I asked if the toast was gf. The waitress said yes, and he was going to take the extra plate away and bring me a gf plate. She stopped him and said she had already cleaned it. There must be a protocol because he was confused and really wanted to take my plate and started to say something to her and she said, “no, I know but it’s ok, I already cleaned it.” And she wiped it with a dish rag. I was still unsure about the bread because, like I said, the hostess, (owner/manager) told me from the get go she was out and it would be about 2 weeks before she could get more. Soooooo, who knows.

The staff was knowledgeable about celiacs and cross contamination. The food was amazing and I’ll definitely come back! Also they have a separate gf menu and I didn’t get sick. Update: went back twice since then and the first time I nima tested the chicken skewers and it came back with :). The second time I trusted the place because the menu says what gf brands they use, staff said it’s celiac friendly, and they have square plates for gluten free only. I got the chicken pasta and it was so good. I have not felt sick anytime I’ve gone here and I’m very sensitive.

My daughter started feeling sick right after eating. GF substitution for hummus and eggplant is not a GF pitta but bread which makes it a poor substitution for appetizers. Veggies with gyro plate were steamed frozen vegetables. Would not recommend.

GG's is great, the owners are SO nice! They are very careful in preparing foods, and have a decent selection of options. Had the alfredo which was great and creme brûlée which was wonderful. They give you gluten free crackers and olive oil to start with (like bread for non-gf people), this gesture from restaurants always makes me feel like they care about you. Also, they have GREAT live music on Wednesday nights!

We have been to GG's Bistro several times now when we vacation in the Laguna Beach area. Our daughter has Celiac and we do not eat out often. We tried GG's on the recommendation of other people with Celiac that it is a delicious and safe place to eat. Our daughter is highly sensitive to gluten. We could not believe the knowledge of food allergies the owners had. They personally came to our table and talked about food choices. It is our daughter's favorite restaurant because of the numerous food options and she has never gotten sick after eating here. The food is amazing and the owners are so personable. I highly recommend you trying this restasurant!!!

Cheri- Family owned - great atmosphere- very friendly and great care with being sure my food choice was gluten free. Chicken Alfredo and Gluten Free bread with dipping sauce delicious! Wish I had room for GF desserts. Wide variety! If you're ever in Laguna Beach area this place is a must for Celiacs!

Mediterranean food and Italian food that is delicious and gluten free. I've tried several items on the GF menu. Everything has been wonderful. I've had no reactions and I'm very sensitive. The service is very good too.

GF pitas! Whaaaa?! I discovered this place a little later than I should have. Got takeout once and ate on the patio the second time. Food is good, but not amazing. A safe place to grab lunch. I had chicken kebabs and one of the pita sandwich things.
