A must go, if you are in Auckland and want something sweet. The ice cream is out of this world and they change some flavors weekly. It is completely gluten free and they even have baked desserts so if you want to pick yourself up a treat for later. We’ve tried the Kiwiberry Groove, Lemon Meringue and Blackberry Pie, Hokey Pokey and Buono flavors and they were amazing.

Amazing! EVERYTHING is GF - the owners are Coeliac so they totally get it.

They have amazing boujxie ice creams with toppings with fresh baking - like cookies, sweet pies, smores.

Even the icecream cones are all GF

Quite simply my favourite place for a treat - I feel so safe knowing it’s exclusively gluten free and I can eat everything there without worrying. The ice cream is beyond delicious with a huge range of options - plus gf donuts!!! The menu is pricey but definitely worth it for a fancy treat every now and then.

Giving 5 stars for safety as this is a 100% GF environment so coeliac safe and we want to encourage more 100% gf places.

HOWEVER, it's is crazy overhyped. 15 minute queue, plus high prices, and the end result was okay ice cream.

Much prefer Duck Island ice cream flavours and cone, and they take coeliac pretty seriously top (albeit not fully GF but great protocols).

Also their app amd ordering system is super confusing and nobody in the queue could work it out.

Disappointed - ordered the GF donut with chocolate icing. It was dense, doughy, and the sourdough flavour was quite strong but not sweet enough for a donut. The chocolate was runny and really not what I was expecting. Didn’t enjoy it at all.

Run here immediately!!! This was incredible! I never thought I’d be able to eat a baked cookie style fish out again but this gluten free dedicated dessert location disproves all the comments that gluten free can’t be delicious! There are so many glorious options, definitely worth a try! Sure it might sound expensive for ice cream, but it’s so much more than that and generous portions, and you pay more in a restaurant for a dessert anyway! YUM

Yum, yum, yum!! Gf donuts, cookie pie, waffle cones & stunning icecream. This is a treat place, it was reasonably expensive, however good for a treat (we went twice during our visit to Auckland)

This place is a dream come true. World class ice cream and dessert all gluten free. It must be the first in the world to do that. The owner is coeliac and her ice cream, cones donuts tiramisu and cookies are the best best best I have ever had even before my diagnosis. A must try for everyone. An experience. The owner of Giapo told me she is a coeliac as well as her son so everything is glutenfree with no traces of contamination. The gf waffle cones and Afghans are amazing!!! I can’t wait to try the donuts and tiramisu next time.
