Review of Giglio's State Street Tavern

This place just opened up recently and I'm glad I finally tried it. Yesterday was a bears game so they were out of a few things. The owner apologized in advance for being out of the beyond burger. Later he came over and apologized for being out of the GF pasta. So he gave me a GF pizza on the house. I planned on getting the roasted herb chicken, so I got to try both.He's a smart man. I usually don't like cauliflower crust and probably would never had tried it. I'm so glad he gave me the pizza. It's really good! I'll definitely be back for the pizza.The herb chicken was really good as well. I'm looking forward to trying the pasta and Bolognese. So happy for a good Italian place in the neighborhood!
