Review of Ginger

Please avoid at all costs if you have an allergy or celiac! We asked the hostesses if they had a gluten free menu and they didn’t, but showed us a version of the menu with allergens highlighted and there were a few appetizers and a few entrees that were safe. When we got to the table the actual menu was quite different so we asked the server to identify what was safe. He seemed knowledgeable at first, stating that almost anything could be modified since they had GF soy sauce, but it turned out a majority of items are pre marinated and cannot. However a few of the dishes the hostess mentioned were safe he told us were not safe and vice versa which was very confusing. So we ended up ordering the lettuce wraps which were bland because they ended up not having any sauce with the modification (which he didn’t inform us of when ordering). For entree we got the Singapore noodles (rice noodles). He said the BBQ pork was not GF so ordered it with chicken instead. It came out with the BBQ pork and we were confused and asked the server who brought it out whether it was GF since we were told otherwise and he assured us it was safe. Clearly was not and I got glutened.
