A wonderful dinner with exceptional service! Server Brittany made note of my Celiac and shellfish allergy, and went through menu items that would be safe/could be made GF for me. The online menu does not do justice to the range of GF options! When ordering, the server double checked with the kitchen to confirm that the risotto I decided on was safe. The meal was delicious and very filling (glad I didn’t opt for a salad as well!) My non-celiac son had the ribs and shrimp special and said it was excellent.

We ate here after my husband (not GF) googled “GF restaurants in Sault Ste. Marie Ontario”. Giovanni’s came up; the menu showed “100% gluten-free corn pasta available”. I ordered GF Penne Contadina and it was delicious! I always purchase rice pasta at home but their corn-based pasta was very good. My husband loved his own meal. Our server, Giselle, was very knowledgeable about celiac disease. When I ordered a Caesar salad, she immediately said, before I could, “with no croutons”. She pointed out the GF options on the menu and told me what could be made gluten-free with their corn pasta. When Giselle delivered our meals, she said “Your gluten-free pasta Contadina”. No reaction afterwards!
