A busy place / cool little lodge! I got the fresh Alaska Halibut and tried the salmon dip, no adverse reaction to either one. The waiter knew what she was doing and was very cautious when conversing with the kitchen, BUT fwi - they don’t have dedicated fryers or dedicated pots/water for pasta.

Fantastic! Very cool atmosphere! Super busy so be prepared for a long wait if don't make a reservation. Had the salmon dip with GF crackers. Tasted so good that I really was questioning if really Gf. But they were and no reaction. Options are all labeled on menu. Recommend!

The restaurant was very COVID safe with all employees masked and tables closed to allow spacing. The menu has items marked as GF. I had the smoked salmon dip and the mixed seafood grill. Both were excellent. The seafood was perfectly cooked. They also had regional GF beer. Great food and great service. Returned again in 2023. Had the seafood pasta. Was superb. Smoked salmon dip came with GF crackers

We ordered the GF Salmon. Excellent. Veggies all good. Couldn't 'see' back into kitchen, but many items listed, & menu says GF by ones Safe. Fast service. They have GF beer - imported from Seattle - a town know (at least in past) for being 'foodie.'

I had a late dinner here one night in Anchorage. The place was packed so make sure you have reservations in the busy season. They were short staffed, but our waitress was attentive and wanted us to have a pleasant experience. I ordered the prawn appetizer and blue cheese salad. Both were listed as GF on the menu. I enjoyed the flavor of each dish and felt like the amount of food was a good value for the cost. I would visit here again to try other menu items since there were plenty of options.

Couldn’t eat as waitress was clueless about menu items. Asked for GF salmon fettuccine and was told GF came with no noodles. She recommended salad and I ordered the Salmon BLT salad which was delivered with breadcrumbs. Waitress said she was having protein taken off and added to another salad as it hadn’t touched the breadcrumbs. Another server said they did have GF noodles to which our waitress said “really”. Left without eating. On a positive note, they serve Ghostfish beer in cans.

Honestly just avoid it. Yes they label GF on their menu but they don’t take it seriously. We had to send back an entree because it clearly included fried Brussels sprouts (shared fryer) despite us asking for pan seared or steamed. It came back out and they assured us it was pan seared and it had bits of fried things in it. Hoping I don’t get sick.

Waiter was very attentive to cross contamination. Salmon was good. Sauce on plate had a strange flavor so he gave me a clean plate. Didn’t get sick & nice atmosphere.

Had steak, potatoes, and broccolini. So tasty! I loved the bleu cheese on top of the steak, which you could probably omit if you're sensitive to the bleu cheese. We sat near the open kitchen. It was neat to watch them cook. It is expensive, but the food was so good. Not sure if celiac friendly.

I ordered gluten free salad with grilled shrimp and informed the server I was Celiac. I asked for the shrimp to be grilled on foil or pan seared. When my salad arrived with grill marks on the shrimp I asked if this was the same grill that is currently covered in bread to make toast. I was informed that it was but that the "chef," says the high heat "kills" the gluten. So I asked if I was to tell the chef that I was allergic to shrimp would he say it is ok because the high heat kills the shrimp "allergen?" Needless to say, such a gross misunderstanding of basis of food allergens and food safety necessitated that I go somewhere else. l reported them to the health department.

Lots of options and the food is always great! I really like the gluten free pizza and creme brûlée!
Menu is marked as to which items can be made gluten free. Food was good, but small portions.
Yes
Good gluten free selection and good knowledge of what's ok to get and what's not. However, the prices are high and it took about 40 minutes after ordering to get our food. Also, my sockeye salmon was overcooked outside, and rare inside. Odd combination that I didn't care for.
Great atmosphere! My gf pizza was good.
We had dinner at the Glacier Brew House and are pleased that the restaurant is even better than it was in past years. This is a good restaurant for experiencing fine dining as well as casual dining, as the menu contains a lot of great options. The gluten-free selections have increased and are clearly labeled on the menu (NOT a separate menu) but be sure to ask the server how they modify the dish to make it gluten-free, as sometimes the chef has to leave out ingredients listed on the menu. The server seemed to have a good understanding of GF protocols in the kitchen. Service has been consistently good over the past few years, and this particular visit was for a large group of 12 people. Everyone was very satisfied with what they ordered, and everyone got their food at the same time. This is a very popular restaurant, so be sure to go on line for reservations, particularly on weekends. They are trying very hard to accommodate Celiac and allergies. There is not a cider on tap, but several canned/bottled to pick from. Good wine selection.

The waitstaff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I had the seafood Alfredo which I know was gf by the texture of the noodles. 5 gf beer/ciders on hand plus vodkas. My stomach was upset within an hour. Normally it's about 5 hours so I'm not sure. I will eat here again to try it out.
Great food with separate gf menu. Lots of choices in all categories! I had blue cheese salad and salmon. A little pricey but fabulous!!!

Absolutely fabulous!! Had the fresh king salmon. Waitress and chef knowledgeable. No problems changing rices. Best creme brûlée I've eaten in ages

They have their own separate gluten free menu with many options!
Glacier Brewhouse has an extensive gluten-free menu that includes gluten-free beer, fish, and dessert (flourless cake). The staff is knowledgable about the gluten-free options. As a Celiac, I did not run into any cross-contamination issues or get sick afterwards. The staff is very helpful and the food is great!

This place is not Gluten Free. There is cross contamination and their menu is simply a list of items they've pulled from their menu that doesn't have gluten. They do not offer any alternatives such as bread.
They have a modified menu and the waitress was very familiar with the menu and helpful but they recommended switching from pita bread to tortilla chips on one menu item but the tortilla chips are fried in a shared fryer. So be careful before making a selection. The fish and steak are excellent but cross-contamination is an issue with other menu items.
