Staff is incompetent. We called to pick up, were on hold for 20 minutes before hanging up and decided to eat there as we were driving by. We were told to find a table and someone would stop by. Waited 15 minutes and no one came to the table, as they were all socializing at the counter. Truly not worth it.
Make sure to verify the ingredients on the pizza are gluten free. We ordered a gluten free pizza and didn't realize some of the toppings had gluten in them. Not sure why the person didn't say are you sure you want the specific topping with gluten. Have ordered before and not as problems but this experience was disappointing.
Their regular menu items are great. before I found out I couldn't eat gluten I loved GNP. I have yet to try their gluten free menu as it is not available on their website. I settled on a salad tonight and asked the driver why it's not listed on the website. her reply was "um, I don't know" in an I don't care kind of tone. I guess I will skip GNP in the future or maybe ask for a GF menu next time I order.
Had this for the first time last night and am super happy not to have any reaction! Nice to have delivery pizza in Madison! I spoke with someone on the phone prior to ordering and she said crust comes in frozen and they bake it with foil under it and they use a separate cutter for all gf pizzas! Also tasted great too.
We do carry gluten free now. We were just in a precautionary phase considering that we mix over 1,500 pounds of flour in the store per week. For a gluten intollerant person, it is fine. I would not recomend us for a true celiac. Dangers of cross contamination are just too numerous. We do our best to make sure we limit gluten as much as possible. Can not make a gluten free promise considering how much flour is introduced into the air on a weekly basis. On a side note, we also now offer a vegan cheese!
Because it's not a dedicated gluten free facility (and doesn't have a dedicated gluten free area in the kitchen) it doesn't matter if you order the gluten free crust, there will most likely be cross-contamination. I got sick from the gluten free crust. Wouldn't recommend to anyone with celiacs or severe/moderate gluten intolerance.
Mixed-use kitchen, but their GF pizza crust (made at a separate location, when I asked) is very good. It works best with lighter pizzas like the Mediterranean; heavier ones, like the cardiac arrest, will get soggy/floppy much faster - the curse of GF crusts.
There are some big issues with this place. The management is awful, they take forever to get food out and the website even says not to order the gluten free crust if you have an allergy. I have gluten intollerance (not celiac) and I get symptoms after eating here. When I asked them nicely to try not to cross-contaminate, they looked at me like I was crazy. Eat at your own risk!
