They have a variety of baked goods that are very allergy friendly. The food was ok. Their flour mix must be heavy on the bean flours. It kinda had a weird aftertaste to it. Maybe that makes it more allergy friendly? The people working there were not very inviting. I think the only words spoken to us was the total amount we owed for our order, which was pricey. The cinnamon roll I ordered (that was the size of a standard muffin) was $6.

Got food poising here,

be very carful, I paid for it for 15 days, not fresh, not clean, dirty bathroom, toxic items on kitchen counter, does not follow health dept. food cooling procedures and any one can sneeze on the few pastries they have and the silverware not good. And the server/counter person was not nice, dirty dishes next to the clean dishes.

No wheat, barley, rye, oats, corn, soy.... this place is great for allergies but also great for flavor, texture, and innovation.

I had a grilled cheese sandwich and a muffin and ended up taking a cupcake and cookies to go and everything was great. Two thumbs way up, for both gluten free eaters and not.

If you have celiac disease, you need to check this place out. Everything is gluten free there, it's like a celiacs heaven. It's an amazing feeling to be able to eat anything and everything on the menu/bakery case. So about the taste- we ordered the apple cinnamon donut, breakfast sammie, and biscuits and gravy- and we enjoyed everything. Now if you normally like McDonald's and Applebee's, you might not like the taste of their 'cleaner' tasting food. As for pricing, if you eat completely gf, the prices are normal for gluten free eating. If you don't normally eat gf, you will have sticker shock. All over scoring is 2 thumbs up and we will definitely be back the next time we come to Pittsburgh.

It’s nice being able to order any of the options confidently. I ordered a breakfast sandwich which was delicious! However, the vegetable soup I had as a side was very spicy and was not advertised as such. I tasted a bite of the veggie burger which was kind of boring. Out of their baked goods, I got a chocolate lavender cupcake which I personally did not like and an oatmeal cookie sandwich which was okay but heavier than I expected. And of course the food is expensive because it is gluten free. The two baked goods alone came to be over $11.

I appreciate and like to support dedicated gluten free restaurants/cafes and bakeries. I commend them for their effort, but I personally didn’t care for any of the four bakery items I purchased.

All gluten free cafe/bakery, with multiple vegan options as well. My non-celiac SO loved their bread pudding, I had the waffle last and a scrambled egg- both delicious!

Great breakfast or lunch spot with all gf foods. I've gone several times now and love every lunch item I've gotten and am double happy because it's dedicated gf. Dessert and bakery items have much improved since they've started and I enjoy their regular attempts at trying new recipes.

A dedicated GF facility! We tried two different types of donuts, a cinnamon roll, and a muffin and were not disappointed by any of the items. They all had great texture, superb flavor, and reminded us of "the real thing." My non-GF boyfriend commented on how good everything tasted. Oh - and the coffee is strong, not bitter, flavorful and delicious!

Amazing gluten free bakery and coffee. Great gf sandwich and soup. Almost died of deliciousness over the gingerbread donut and a chocolate cookie with salt. While a bit pricey it was completely worth it for a lovely, safe and healthy gluten free lunch.

Amazing selection and all GF! I wish I lived in Pittsburgh so I could go get one of their donuts every day. Sadly I don't but it's probably better for my health that way! They have really good savory items to (Quiche, focaccia sandwiches).

Who put one $ symbol on this place? Yes it is VERY good and a great atmosphere, but 1 basic plate, 2 danishes, 2 coffees $43! Glad we stopped but people should know they are the highest priced place we have ever eaten off GF Finder.

I’m giving 4 stars instead of three because it is great to have a dedicated spot to stop for breakfast. They deserve less stars however for their food - tasteless and bland. I got the quiche and it was like eating rubber. GF tastes good in my house unlike here. Also got a chai which was served super watered down and luke warm. Can’t say we will be back.

Ate here for breakfast three days in a row. Their ice cream cookie sandwiches were amazing. Everything is vegetarian and most of the menu was vegan. I got grilled cheese, eggs Benedict, pudding and bagels. The bagels were really soft and tasted like normal bagels! I didn't get sick and would come back next time I'm in Pittsburgh.

This was my first time here and I’ll definitely be back! I had a veggie burger that had really nice texture, on gluten free focaccia bread. It was a warm, satisfying meal that didn’t make me feel gross like so many oily, heavy restaurant meals. My only complaint is the side salad was only greens that were either not dressed at all, or very minimally dressed. For a restaurant appealing to the plant based crowd I would have expected more attention paid to the salad. I ended my meal with an apple cider doughnut that was just perfect! Great texture, flavor, and none of the grit that sometimes comes with gluten free pastries.

I brought my cousin who is neither Celiac or vegan, and she was blown away by her waffle with apple topping. I would have loved to have tried it but she was to into it to share!

Places like Gluten Free Goat really raise the bar for gluten free/plant based dining. Thank you, GFG!

Place has excellent GF options and also happens to be vegetarian. I am neither vegetarian nor need to be GF but needed a place for my sis (celiac). The Moroccan lentil salad and grilled cheese were excellent. The latter wasn’t on the menu but the staff nicely accommodated the request as a BLT was offer. The other items on display looked delicious was well. We will return for more. Hopefully they will soon have enough business to have GF bread loaves for walk-in sale.

Had the waffle and flatbread. Also did their bread subscription. I've been diagnosed with celiac for almost 10 years. Some of the best bread I've had. I'm also soy, dairy and egg free. One of the only spots I'll eat out in Pittsburgh.

Went for brunch while in town for a wedding. Three of us in the group got waffles and they were excellent. The other person in the group got quiche and enjoyed it as well. Has a good variety of donuts, cupcakes, and other goodies to choose from.
