We had their apple pie, it was very delicious, but both of us had an allergic reaction to something in it (not wheat). Not really sure what it was that caused it. I've never had a food allergy before, maybe a nut flour or something... Bummed we won't be visiting again.
The chocolate chip cookies are delicious, they're made with gf oats though😞. I had a reaction. The cupcakes are small, gooey , too sweet and not very good ( over priced). The crust on the pies are good, but the filling is sub par. The owners are very nice, talkative and inviting. I wish I could eat the cookies, they're delicious.
Obviously safe for celiacs by the name. We had the brownie cupcake and it was ok. We've had better gf cupcakes. Also, be prepared for gf spiel from owner about how unsafe all the labeled gf products sold in super markets are. She'll make you feel like you can never eat anything packaged ever again. Not super impressed. Just meh.
What a terrific find! I'm visiting from the Bay Area, and as my friend lives very close by, I decided to try out their baked goods. Dedicated gluten free bakeries are few and far between. The owner's husband -Mark -was very informative and friendly. The chocolate chip cookies are THE best, as were the lemon cupcakes. Great flavor and texture. Am going back to load up for my trip home. Thank you Zero Gluten!
So yummy. Completely gluten free facility. We stopped in after eating at Crepe Expectations next door. I got some chocolate chip cookies and a lemon curd cupcake. A little pricy, but I have come to expect that from good gluten free bakeries since the ingredients cost more to begin with. It's such a treat to be able to walk into a bakery and pick whatever I want from a case. It was worth the splurge. I would go back the next time I am in Vegas.
I was really excited to try this place. The employees are very knowledgeable and the owner has Celiac's. They don't use some of the traditional gf ingredients such as xanthum gum, and they had a large selection. However, I was a bit disappointed. I tried many different products and they were all dry and didn't taste very fresh. I appreciate their attempt, but overall it didn't live up to my expectations.
Very nice and knowledgeable owners. The carrot cake was tasty and so were the cookies. My only complaint was that the chocolate truffle ones were not that tasty and everything crumbled. I appreciate the dedicated gluten free business and we would go back.
Such a great find I wish we lived here! The best and most knowledgable owners ever who are so happy to teach and share! Loved all the goodies we bought wished we could have tried everything we will be back the next time we are in Vegas! Not to be missed!
Delicious gluten free bakery! Short drive out of vegas, away from the strip. The cinnamon rolls were huge and taste phenomenal warmed up. The carrot cake with cream cheese frosting is great as well. My sister got the cookies and really liked them. I also purchased the german chocolate cake and some pies but haven't tried them yet. I'm certain they will not disappoint! We will be back.
Really great bakery!!! Definitely worth make the trip. My daughter has Celiac and I'm always looking for places to get a special treat when we are away from home. I will absolutely be visiting this place again. The owner of this bakery has Celiac Disease, so she understand the need of a dedicated facility.
YUMMMMEEEE!! Worth a stop on the way to or from the airport!!! I bought the chocolate chip cookie - the brownie cupcake - the lemon cupcake & the pecan pie!!! And the next day I walked 14,400 steps and did 2 workout at the gym to try and burn some of those calories - and it was so worth it!!! I appreciate this "find me gluten free" app so much!!! Thanks to everyone for the reviews so us celiacs can know where to eat safely when we travel !
Fantastic. I'm from Southern California and I had to try this place while I was in town. We ate the raspberry tort in the car on the way home and it didn't taste gf at all. Now that I'm home, I'm sampling the pecan pie and it's the best gf dessert I have ever had. I hope they do mail orders soon, or else I might have to move to Nevada. Enjoy, you won't be disappointed. The chef has celiac and the whole place is gf so no cross contamination worries.
There were only 3 vegan options when I went: the brownie (more like a big German chocolate cupcake), lemon cookies, and carrot cake. They were all DELICIOUS. I asked about vegan bread, and her SafeBread recipe isn't working in the heat and elevation (they just moved to Vegas from California) so she is working on re-perfecting it. I will definitely stop her on future road trips and look forward to trying this when she has it again. Really friendly owner and staff.
