Golden Eagle Bar and Grill

I’ve been coming here pre-celiac since I was a kid, but I haven’t been back in years!!! Came here with my parents who are in town just after Thanksgiving & thought, oh I’ll just get a steak, that’ll be easy. However, our server, Laura is celiac and shared with me like 17 options for me to choose from (she shared her favorites), including many fish and seafood items, appetizers, specials not on the menu, plus chicken and all salad dressings are gluten free — she’s never gotten sick and assured me she would talk with the chef!

I was in heaven. I ate the escargots (minus the bread) that were incredibly delicious, a house salad, steak medallions with their own homemade zip sauce — all gluten-free!!!

Didn’t have a reaction. Cannot wait to go back. Thanks Fred (the owner).
