The Gomshall Mill

Gomshall Mill is part of the New Dawn pun group and opened in December 2022. It has been newly refurbished and I had a lovely meal there before Christmas. It has a dedicated gluten free menu and they have a pink plate policy if you tell them you can’t eat gluten. All your food will be served on a pink plate if you declare an allergy. You can choose from starters such as crispy calamari or tempura spiced cauliflower and mains include pie if the day, haddock and chips. They also serve 3 types of sandwiches including crispy fish finger sandwiches. I was too full to try an desserts but they are available.

Had a lovely meal here yesterday. The pink plate policy made me very reassured as did waiters understanding of cross contamination. I had the BLT which comes with skin on fries. Plenty of filling to make up for gf bread size and was same price as standard BLT. Huge gluten free menu with fish and chips, pies and burgers, sandwiches and starters. I was too full for pudding. Fairly expensive with slow service but worth it for the choice available! I enquired about roasts on Sundays and all is gf apart from the Yorkshire pudding.
