The food was delicious! I got the shrimp tempura and a chicken rice bowl. Best meal of my trip so far! I would highly recommend. They had a separate gluten free menu and when they delivered your food they would let you know that it was made gluten free. 10/10 would recommend!
Bella scoperta, hanno un menú senza glutine e ogni piatto che portano ricordano che è “gluten free”, molto rassicurante!! Non ho preso la tempura (anche se presente nel menú dedicato GF) per paura di una cross contamination per l’olio nella friggitrice, solo perché in Italia siamo molto attenti! Bravi , attenti e gentili!

Super nice! Lovely staff, good view, delicious food, separate gluten free menu. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I had two orders of tempura and the fantastic beef skewers. Couldn't have been better. Enjoy!
Had gluten free menu and provided gluten free soya sauce. Was a bit Saturday night so service wasn’t brilliant, but good from a gluten point of view! Set menu (gluten free) was available for 1 too, which is handy and not too different from the main menu so didn’t feel was missing out on anything.
The staff was very nice, the place felt pretty safe for celiacs, the food was fair in taste, but a little inauthentic feeling and not very inexpensive for what you get. However, that being said, I did not have a reaction after I ate there ( which is very worthy!), and the staff was very understanding about my dietary needs. I ate from the GF menu: salomon rice bowl, skewers, and drank sake. Here ill show a picture of the sake because this type of sake is GF to my knowledge (it’s supposed to be pure sake-called “sake jumai”-without anything other than rice)

We were unable to get in the previous night so we booked online It easy not possible to book for 3 so we booked for 4 instead and told a white lie when we turned up The food was great reasonably priced and came quickly They had a separate GF menu and my coeliac daughter enjoyed it immensely
We waited 1 hour for a main dish and ended up cancelling it and ordering something else because it took too long. Other than that, it was great and the food was tasty.
Was good, was tasty, however two Australian teenagers ploughed through an entree and main each then hit lawsons for dessert fyi.
Excellent service, four drinks, four meals, two entrees $140. Would go again.
Not much more to add than what everyone else has said. Gluten Free menu, lots of confidence in safety and great taste. Master Coeliac had the tempura and chicken skewers on rice and loved it

Our server Kenji was great and suggested the shrimp tempura. Came with a green tea salt that was super tasty. Had barbecue skewers, the house salad, tempura and hand rolls. Brought gluten free soy sauce to the table, and even caught my wife when she mixed up and handed me the wrong sauce. Delicious food, cocktails, dedicated menu - perfect experience my first night in Tokyo to overcome food anxiety related to CD.

This was our favourite restaurant in Tokyo. Many options, a gluten-free menu and delicious food. Nice people and lovely place.
Everything we ate was so good. I would recommend going to the second floor. Ask for a gluten free menu if you have celiac. There are many options. I ended up going twice because everything was so good. They have gluten free soy sauce.

We enjoyed this restaurant very much! On our first of two visits while in Tokyo, Takumi provided excellent service. It was so great to have a place near our hotel with a gluten free menu!! I highly recommend reservations and, if you can, request a seat near the far window with a view of the river. On our second visit (a Friday night) the noise level was especially loud, so keep that in mind if you would prefer a quieter atmosphere. Note i did not give it 5 starts for safety because I’m unsure if people who are strict would have any issues with cross contamination. I did not inquire.

This was loved by the whole family. The gluten-free tempura was really excellent. There is a large selection of items to choose from. I had the chicken yakitori donburi, which came with three different types of yakitori chicken.

Great place, lots of atmosphere, we sat overlooking the river with a great view. Near Senso-ji and Skytree. Great food, docked a star as no GF beer.
The best experience in Tokyo! Sushi, tempura and Sumiyaki charcoal grill are amazing. Desserts are Super! That's a must to have in Tokyo!

This restaurant was recommended on the FB go to Gluten Free Japan. The BEST chicken wings I’ve ever had. A good GF selection and very authentic.
Great food. Gluten free menu with lots of choices. Staff act disinterested but you can ignore that aspect to have safe food. Very reasonable prices.
My Coeliac daughter had a great time and loved the food. No symptoms next day so all good 🙏. Would highly recommend the place for its atmosphere too.

A libel restaurant between Senjo-ji Temple and Skytree tower on the river. Dedicated GF menu, waitress knew as soon as asked and brought gf soy sauce. Quick and friendly - sashimi plate was amazing.
The food was delicious. They have a gluten free menu and the server had very good English and knew right away when I said I was allergic to gluten.
They have a gluten free menu, but unfortunately they told me they were too busy to swap out the oil to make it safe for a sensitive allergy. May be best to plan to go at an off peak time if you’re sensitive. Food looked good!
Extremely tasty. Service was slow and our order got messed up. Waitress was very apologetic and gave us some free WHEAT tea as an apology. I have been often served wheat tea after a meal in Japan so be very careful.

I walked in without a reservation on a Monday evening and was promptly seated. I asked about GF and Kenji brought me a different menu and some GF soy sauce. The food was good. Chicken skewers had a good chargrilled flavor. Mild but not bad, especially with some of the soy sauce. Service was excellent and friendly.
This place was awesome!! I made a reservation and I’m glad I did bc it was busy. Great vibe inside and full separate gf menu! I got a bunch of skewers (beef, chicken, green onion, etc) and they cook them w/ just salt (instead of sauce). I also got shrimp tempura, and my waitress asked me if they needed to change the oil. It took awhile to come out bc of that but totally worth it. This is a great spot especially if you’re traveling w/ gluten eaters bc of the wide array of non-gf & gf options!

Very tasty. And very gluten free friendly. Separate menus. Very nice surprise. One waiter though mixed the dishes of Gf with non Gf so better double check when you receive the dishes.

Went here for my first meal in Tokyo and it did not disappoint! My server was so kind and helpful, I felt super safe eating here and there was a large variety of options to chose from. The atmosphere was great as well. I’ll definitely be coming back

The staff saw my gluten free translation card and immediately provided me with a gluten free menu. I had the salmon bowl Oyakudon and the chicken gizzard skewers. I was provided gluten free soy sauce, and the server checked to make sure he knew who's food was who's.
The salmon bowl was delicious. The gizzard was a bit salty for me.
Agree with all the other reviewers. Separate menu with many options. Enjoyed sushi and chicken skewers. Good location between temple and Skytree on the river.

They had a gluten-free menu, brought gluten-free soy sauce and were very kind. We tried a yuzu soda and the ginger ale, both were refreshing and delicious. Food was also delicious and I did not get sick. Highly recommend!
June 2023, Had a wonderful gf menu, very kind service. Loved this place!!! It was a crowd pleaser for the whole family. I had Yakatori Don - grilled chicken skewers served with rice and tempura. Also got the pumpkin & coconut flavored zenzai for dessert!
Gonpachi is a cute Izakaya-style place with multiple locations.
Lots of gf items (sushi, rice bowls, grilled chicken etc) and gluten-free soy sauce. This location has a separate gf menu if you ask! (Not on the website though.)
