I walked in without a reservation on a Monday evening and was promptly seated. I asked about GF and Kenji brought me a different menu and some GF soy sauce. The food was good. Chicken skewers had a good chargrilled flavor. Mild but not bad, especially with some of the soy sauce. Service was excellent and friendly.

This place was awesome!! I made a reservation and I’m glad I did bc it was busy. Great vibe inside and full separate gf menu! I got a bunch of skewers (beef, chicken, green onion, etc) and they cook them w/ just salt (instead of sauce). I also got shrimp tempura, and my waitress asked me if they needed to change the oil. It took awhile to come out bc of that but totally worth it. This is a great spot especially if you’re traveling w/ gluten eaters bc of the wide array of non-gf & gf options!

Very tasty. And very gluten free friendly. Separate menus. Very nice surprise. One waiter though mixed the dishes of Gf with non Gf so better double check when you receive the dishes.

Went here for my first meal in Tokyo and it did not disappoint! My server was so kind and helpful, I felt super safe eating here and there was a large variety of options to chose from. The atmosphere was great as well. I’ll definitely be coming back

The staff saw my gluten free translation card and immediately provided me with a gluten free menu. I had the salmon bowl Oyakudon and the chicken gizzard skewers. I was provided gluten free soy sauce, and the server checked to make sure he knew who's food was who's.

The salmon bowl was delicious. The gizzard was a bit salty for me.

Agree with all the other reviewers. Separate menu with many options. Enjoyed sushi and chicken skewers. Good location between temple and Skytree on the river.

Great experience. Dedicated GF menu in English. The waiter also spoke excellent English and understood all the GF concepts. Will go back again.

They had a gluten-free menu, brought gluten-free soy sauce and were very kind. We tried a yuzu soda and the ginger ale, both were refreshing and delicious. Food was also delicious and I did not get sick. Highly recommend!

June 2023, Had a wonderful gf menu, very kind service. Loved this place!!! It was a crowd pleaser for the whole family. I had Yakatori Don - grilled chicken skewers served with rice and tempura. Also got the pumpkin & coconut flavored zenzai for dessert!

Gonpachi is a cute Izakaya-style place with multiple locations.

Lots of gf items (sushi, rice bowls, grilled chicken etc) and gluten-free soy sauce. This location has a separate gf menu if you ask! (Not on the website though.)
