I decided to try the Taste of Goo Goo as Goo Goo Clusters themselves are labeled gluten free. This is how it went: You enter the class with a plastic tray prefilled with a chocolate shell. I told the instructor that I am gluten free and he gave me an allergen sheet. I’m not sure how accurate it was as not everything seemed to be labeled but I attached the photo here. Also not all of the ingredients on the sheet were available. When it came time to get the fillings, you go through an assembly line with a paper boat. The sweet ingredients, or the spreadables, were in little cups, and the dry ingredients were in labeled containers. The three gf dry ingredients available were peanuts, pecans, and Heath bits and those were at the beginning of the group. You just take a spoonful and pour it into your boat. I did not see any cross contact there. I got bourbon caramel, peanut butter, two pecans and Heath bits. After our shells were filled, it was time to get the chocolate topping. The instructor told us to wipe off our plastic boards of any stray crumbs. They were then taken to the chocolate pump where the employee there also wiped off the plastic boards again before filling the shells. After that we got our clusters and packaged them up. I ate all of mine right afterwards and had absolutely no issues. I really enjoyed the experience as well and after experiencing the process I would definitely do it again.
