I was diagnosed with celiacs 11 years ago. I have always loves this restaurant because of the homey feel and great food for a low price. Never had a problem with cross contamination or special orders with the chefs. Coming here is always a treat!

**NOT GLUTEN FREE**

Good Eatz promoted itself as a gluten free restaurant, it isn't.

Their level of "gluten free" may be fine for those choosing to not eat gluten, but for those with Celiac DIsease - save yourself the misery of eating here.

My 11 year old daughter has Celiac Disease. She was diagnosed four years ago. Since that time she has been glutened only four times. THREE of the four were at Good Eatz. I kept hoping that communicating with the owner would make a safer dining experience. It hasn't..

Within a half hour of eating her meal, my daughter became violently ill - vomiting until she was dry heaving and then vomiting mucus for hours. Later that day she developed mouth sores which are very painful and last for well over a week.

My daughter also has Type 1 Diabetes. As a result of being given gluten - she is not able to digest her food properly until she heals - usually within a week or two. During this time it is nearly impossible to give correct doses of insulin to cover the food she is eating.

There were many phone calls to her Endocrinologist and Celiac Team at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

The last (and final) time we ate at Good Eatz, we were still in the building when my daughter began vomiting. We went back and asked to speak to the owner. I explained to him what had happened (again). He held up a bag of Udi's bread and said that it must be this bread causing her to be sick, that they must be having issues with cross-contamination. My daughter has no issue with Udi's products at home, it is her favorite gluten free company.

We will not be eating here again. If you have Celiac Disease and truly need to be 100% gluten free avoid this restaurant.

We have eaten here quite often over the past five years. The wait staff is knowledgeable about ingredients. Questions about special diets do not phase them. Of all the GF menu items, my celiac son LOVES the GF pizza best. But almost anything they offer can be converted to GF or vegan. They also have a ton of GF baked goods such as cookies, breads, cake, muffins, tarts, pie, etc. For convenience, we frequently pick up a GoodEatz prepacked GF item at Kimberton Whole Foods to take with us on holidays or for bday parties etc. The staff is friendly and helpful! I preferred their old location before they moved to the Vanity Fair Outlets complex. This room can feel cramped. On Sundays we have noticed the waitstaff is so busy, they seem rushed and have less time to answer questions about special menu items. But it is still by FAR and away one of the best options for GF dining. And we love supporting a local business!! P.S. Try the Fat Elvis cake. It's just ridiculously good!!!

Great GF, DF and vegan options for a reasonable price. Not everything on their lunch menu is GF but most items can be modified to be GF. Also their bakery items are ALL GF! Very delicious! Highly recommend!

I was excited to find this place. Having celiacs disease there are not many options when it comes to eating out. However, I have had 2 significant gluten reactions after eating there. When you are as strict with your diet as I am you know when and where you were glutened. I felt fantastic before, but felt horrible shortly after. This place may be fine for those looking to go GF for some other reason than celiacs, but I would recommend anyone with celiacs to stay away. I tried contacting them via e-mail and have not recieved a return response. It is a shame. the food tastes great, but has poisoned me twice.
