They did a great job handling the celiac allergy. She even called out things not marked. There was an entirely separate allergy menu - fantastic food. Sub gf pasta, Brazilian cheese bread, beets, and more
— Very
— Separate gluten-free menu
— Most/All
— Excellent
2016: Chef didn’t “believe” in celiac and fried my potato garnishes in contaminated oil on purpose - this was revealed by the staff once I got so sick. Unbelievable for a place that advertises an allergen menu.
No
My daughter took me here to celebrate my birthday. Because my daughter does not like to draw any attention to her celiac, I called before we arrived to see what the options were for my her. They gave me a handful of choices. When we got there, none of those choices were on the menu. Instead of asking for gluten free I typically ask what’s in an item. This waitress was extremely unhelpful and was loud and kept drawing attention to our table. We finally made a decision and she wrote in huge letters on our slip of paper that my daughter was gluten free, yelled it to the kitchen, etc. The last thing a 15 year old wants is that kind of attention. I know they are a high end restaurant and the chef thinks highly of himself, but I wasn’t asking for any special accommodations, just information. Overall just a really bad experience that didn’t have to be.
They have an allergen menu with a handful of gluten free items.
