I emailed to ask if this urban update of a soul food fish camp could serve me, and was told they had “lots of” gf options. Not true. Might be the James Beard nominee owner/chef has an interesting take on fried (fish) bologna and macaroni and cheese. I’ll never know. Most of the menu is fried fish in common fryer. They do offer an optional gf batter, but it’s fried with the gluten items, as are the French fries. Three side dishes are gf: greens, beans, potato salad. The only gf options are blackened fish which was greasy, salty, and lacked the spicy flavor Paul Prudhomme made famous. Lunch with a canned soda was $30 plus tip at this 10 seat restaurant with outdoor tables. Leave it to the gluten eating tourists.
