Rude owner with no patience for cross contamination being an issue

I had a really bad experience here yesterday.
They had items with gluten over top on gf items, and when I asked if it was safe for someone that has an allergy the woman got really grumpy and said "oh your one of THOSE" then told me cross-contamination will always happen in their kitchen, and no other celiac has had a problem eating there.
I tried to explain that even if I touch some crumbs I break out in rashes, and she just snorted and said no one else in Orewa is safe for celiacs. My friends were pretty disgusted by the service, and took me to another place that was super friendly and took it seriously.

Great understanding of coeliac AND delicious food. The menu has a small selection of items that can be made gf. There are two gf toast options - one keto (which was made with zucchini so really not dry). They have a dedicated toaster for gf bread. Really enjoyed!

Very helpful and plenty of gluten free options. They change menu daily as all food made on-site. Gluten free food kept safe and in appropriate positions. Staff went out of way to show me what was available - gf soups, speciality breads, quiche, pies sweets etc etc
