Goody's

My family & I have been to Goody’s in Bend & Sunriver many times over the years, and though I can no longer have waffle cones or waffle dishes there as I did before being diagnosed Celiac, I still love the place, & enjoyed my recent sundae there with both marionberry & chocolate ice cream! I didn’t think to ask that the server use a clean scoop but had a very impatient person behind me & needed to beat it. What happened to once mellow Bend?

— Excellent

My celiac daughter ordered the marionberry ice cream, and they were happy to open a fresh tub to prevent any cross contamination! Super friendly and helpful staff, especially since I also have a dairy free kid (ingredient questions), and diabetic kid (portion questions), all three of whom I also had to inquire about. They were awesome.

I recommend going when it’s not busy to get careful consideration. We went at 11:30am.

— Excellent

My son went in to order ice cream with his siblings and was told there are no gluten free options. When I went back in with him I inquired about their vanilla & chocolate and was told they were made in shared lines and contained gluten. I did ask to speak to a manager & he did not find out but told me if it were an allergy they would get a clean gallon/scoop etc I just simply do not think they understood and/or are educated. I also asked if there were any options lots of candy and snow cones hard to believe there wasn’t something to offer felt they were being a lazy retailer. My son choose to buy get anything even though I assured him it should be ok if he hit vanilla and they used a clean scooo. Ah well don’t reco!

Staff was fantastic. New scoop, checked ingredients and super great about gluten. Will come again.
