Review of Goombas Pizzeria

UPDATE 4/19/19: Not celiac safe. Ordered the cheesy meatball flatbread and it came back positive for gluten in my Nima sensor. Really upsetting, this used to be my go to restaurant but I’m rethinking that now. Definitely not worth getting sick and it’s odd they don’t have better CC protocols they follow seeing how the owner has celiac disease herself.

ORIGINAL: It’s so great having a place so close to home that’s celiac friendly! They have a separate gluten free menu and the staff is knowledgeable about Celiac disease. I was torn between the pizza and the pasta and meatballs but ended up getting the pasta, it was delicious! They also have GF desserts, I got the strawberry shortcake and enjoyed it! Didn’t get sick so I will definitely be back!
