One of my favorite places to go in Savannah. Staff is wonderful & knowledgeable about celiac. Gluten free toaster available. Lots of amazing options! A MUST GO!
They had gluten free bagels and breads as well as dedicated toaster. Their club sandwich was fantastic. Great service and served quickly. I can’t eat eggs but they had a large variety and my husband said their quiche was very good.
Ate here this morning and did not get sick. If you tell them you have a serious allergy they will toast your bagel in a separate toaster. I got an egg sandwich with bacon and cheese and it was super bland.... I would recommend maybe getting a bagel and cream cheese instead for better flavor. Wasn’t super impressed but I appreciate they take GF seriously.
Knowledgeable staff. New gloves/ Separate toaster. Gluten free bagels and bread.
They have GF bagels (plain & cinnamon raisin) and ask if you want them to use a dedicated GF toaster even- for if it’s an allergy. I had no reactions from here (ate here 2 mornings in a row) & found the bagel sandwich delicious. I can be picky about gluten free bread taste, too. I saw another review stating the bagel was not good & I would wholeheartedly disagree.
Sandwich was great, served on Udis multigrain. Bagel is awful, but that’s a gf purchase issue not something they did to it. Overall safe and a quick easy choice
Great little cafe, very friendly staff, extensive menu with gluten free options. I would definitely stop here again.
Had breakfast sandwich on a gluten free bagel and it was awesome. Person who took the order asked questions to ensure safety.
Love it in here. Lots of options and they always ask if you would like it prepared in a separate area. Staff is very friendly and kind, amazing experience. I have never had a celiac reaction from here
Super friendly staff and lots of options to eat gluten free! Muffin, bagels, eggs, bacon and potatoes!
Had the eggle bagel on gluten free plain bagel with eggs, cheese, and bacon. It was very hot, texture of the bagel was moist and not crumbly, and over all it was good. It cost $9 which felt like a lot though. The staff seemed knowledgeable and asked if it could be around other bread items (I'm not celiac, just sensitive so minor contamination doesn't affect me and I said I didn't mind if it was cut and toasted in the same area as regular breads). Only gluten free items they had were gf plain bagel, gf cinnamon sugar bagel, one kind of gf muffin, and gf bread.
To be clear, my Celiac-sufferer spouse's food was safe and my sandwich was tasty. Our orders, however, were both wrong, they failed to offer to right the wrong once we told them about it, and it's clear they missed the mark with us. Their problem appeared to be one of communication. They were just too busy to be concerned about making it right. Since they’re not the only reliable GF sandwich shop in Savannah, the fact that they made such glaring mistakes on our orders left my spouse wondering what other issues they might miss next time that might leave her meal an unsafe one for her.
Great options for gluten free. We ate here twice while on vacation (breakfast and lunch). I'm highly sensitive and had absolutely no problems.
I appreciate a gluten free bagel option while in Savannah! The bagel had a great texture. The eggs weren't seasoned but that is easily fixed if you're dining in. Got a sandwich to go for later and it was small and bland for the price.. a little disappointing.
It's a cafe with bread everywhere so there is some ridk, but they have a dedicated toaster, and separate everything when cooking. I've eaten several times without getting sick.
gf bagels are really good, dedicated toaster too! Allergy friendly knowledgeable staff!
phenomenal - they explained without me having to ask that they use a separate toaster for their GF bagels.
Celiac safe, good place for breakfast/brunch/lunch. Not a ton of options, but the food is tasty.
Ate here 4 days in a row. Staff always asked if it was allergy or preference. When told allergy immediately took food to separate location to prepare. Have a dedicated GF toaster. It’s a quick serve type place so the person who takes your order is not who delivers the food. Each time the food delivered confirmed it was gluten free before dropping it off. Very knowledgeable staff. Had a great breakfast every day before setting out for adventures. They do sandwiches on GF bagels or bread as well but I did not try them as I was never around at lunch. Tried gf cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese. And the eggel bagel (bacon egg cheese on Gf bagel) - this was my favorite! Bagel was nice and soft. Loaded with egg and bacon and Vermont white cheddar!
Delicious blt sandwich!
The sandwich I had on GF bread was good. I would have preferred a larger portion size for the price paid.
Absolutely Awesome! Not enough stars for this place!!! Loved the GF options, and other 5 ladies I was with loved this place as well!
While I just had a gf toasted bagel, the bagel was toasted in a designated toaster, and they used parchment and gloves while handling the bagel. Also, it was nice that the lady who took my order remembered me, and my allergy from the previous week. Oh, and the receipt had Allergy in bold capital letters on it for my part of the order.
Great sandwiches on GF bread! Really enjoyed the "Telfair" on a GF bagel. Very cautious staff, let them know what you need dietary wise before you order.
We had lunch here, and they were super friendly. The gluten free bread is multigrain and very delicious. They were knowledgeable about allergies and made sure to take precautions. Highly recommended!
Their gf bagel eggle bagel is awesome!
I got one of their sandwiches on on a GF bagel. It was delicious! The staff addressed all my questions and concerns. I did not get sick. It was a lovely place!
Delicious sandwich on Kinnickkinnick bread. No gf baked goods unfortunately, when one is staring at croissants and desserts. Moderately fast service - order at counter then sit down with number. Comfortable, not freezing a/c.
When you order they ask if gluten is an allergy and then make the sandwich in a separate kitchen area. I had the chicken bacon mushroom melt and it was amazing!!! I had a hard time choosing from all the sandwich options! Definitely a go to place for great gluten free sandwiches!
Good gluten-free bagel and they have gluten-free bread and buns for sandwiches. Superior oatmeal. Tomato bisque soup is great also.
Went there for lunch with our 4 children that have celiac disease. Plenty of gfree options and knowledgeable staff. We really enjoyed it and everything was reasonably priced!!
That was the first GF Club I have eaten at a restaurant in 6+ months. it was excellent!
It was so nice to eat something other than a salad on vacation. Gluten free bread available. Very considerate of GF needs. Very good food and people! Well worth a visit!
Went for breakfast. Was like a panera bread with eggs Benedict.
Yummy GF Bagels! Plain or Cinnamon Raisin. I had a egg sandwich with cheese and spinach on the GF plain bagel. Also, ordered a side of grits with cheese on top. So good!! Be prepared to wait in line though.
Delicious gf sandwiches. Husband and I both had ours on gf bagels, though they had gf bread as well. We were both concerned about cross contamination as we went during the morning rush, but both felt fine afterwards. Glad we followed previous reviewer's suggestion of telling them we were sensitive to cross contamination and to have ours microwaved rather than toasted in shared toaster.
really good gluten free sandwich! I recommend this place!
Gluten free bagels and toast can also get eggs etc. Staff was knowledgable. Be sure to tell them GF allergy or celiac because toaster is universal.heated bagel in the Microwave. Four stars because gf items not listed on menu.
